This is fantastic, but please do not give up on your book reviews. One reason I (and I am sure others) enjoy watching your videos, is not only your insightful reviews, but being able to watch you go deep into thought, your eyes searching your mind for the right words to describe what the book made you feel. It is mesmerizing, emotional, and thought provoking to watch you do your reviews. Thanks to you, I have discovered so many new good books! You are underrated for sure.
I’ll definitely still do them. I’m just trying different things to see what works for the algorithm. I really want this channel to take off so I can do it full time. Once it has some momentum, I’ll be able to focus on the type of content I find the most joy in making, which is the book reviews. They just aren’t able to retain enough watch time, because people have a short attention span and need visual engagement, something more than just my dumb face trying to figure out how to articulate things😂

More intelligible than Bertrand Russell's History of Philosophy, you manage to blend the essential categories of philosophy while scarcely using the obtuse words,; logic, ontology, epistemology, cosmology, metaphysics. Well done. I recommend this video to my younger students who have been deprived of the philosophical education you have secured for yourself. with both diligent reading and thoughtful reflection. My favorite attribute of your work is that you present it with a charming sense of humor and rapid fire delivery. Onward CP!
