- Take a tour of this large looking but deceptively thin house. It's full of junk on the main floor. In the basement is an old furnace, coal shoot and a dark room too dark for my camera to see into. Be mindful of a few jump scares upstairs. Abandoned in 1947 when Mr. Miller moved to the big city but may have been rented afterwards for a while. Mr. Miller died in 1978 at the age of 74.
Nice Video of a once grand house. That Pigeon in the attic must have been a shocker!
LOL yes, I've trained myself not to move now when filming....or swearing haha.
Even in decay she’s still beautiful! Awesome video as always! 👍❤️🤘
That bird made me jump, 😂. Cool old house, I'm surprised at how well it's stood up against the weather out there. Thanks for sharing.
I'm fascinated and at the same time saddened to see a house in this condition. If only those walls could speak. I've often wondered why people just walk away from these homes, leaving so many of their belongings behind. Perhaps they hoped to return one day.
That dark room in the basement may have been a cistern at one time, collecting rain water from the roof. The 100+ year-old house I grew up in had one in the basement.
I may go back with a light. But you're probably right. Odd, but that crack in the wall seemed to be the only entrance. But I didn't stay down there long enough.
I love these videos. But can I offer a spelling tip? Coal is poured down a 'chute'.
Damn!!! lol thanks!
Testament to the roof that lasted 70 years after abandonment
Would love to see the barn.
I love that they used ocean colors inside in the middle of nowhere 😊
For some reason the lawn mower in the basement cracks me up. A person would wear themselves out trying to mow all that!
