Lummi artist Ray Friday got her start glassblowing at the Glass Eye in Seattle, Washington before receiving her BFA from Alfred University. Friday has taught workshops to students of all levels at The Studio and at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle.

and sorry miss, no music in the edit LOL. but you know, i like the calm quiet hum of white hotshop noise. i havent had the chance to blow glass in a long time. i didnt realize how much i missed that hum. and the smell of slightly toasted cherry wood. and beeswax. thanks for the walk down memory lane in addition to exposure to a pretty sweet technique :)
