Kunekune Piglets Wormed And Weaned!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 11 лют 2025
- Today was the big day for our last spring litters of Kunekune piglets. They are 7 and 8 weeks old respectively and it was time to wean them from their Moms. First step was to get the sows out and moved to a new pen. Anytime that you move sows to a new area there is always a battle to see who is the boss of the pen. Next, we needed to move the two separate groups of piglets together on a fresh piece of pasture.

Love the low stress moves. Thanks for sharing
As always you are enjoyable to watch your gentleness to your pigs. Thank you.
Thank you. Beautiful Kune Kunes. God bless you.
😂 she definitely took the scenic route 😄
Be encouraged, you inspire us to keep up the work on our homestead.
You do an amazing job with your animals! 💯
Hi John. I would keep both piglets. But, that's just me.
Thanks, have a great day.
Great looking piglets. It is difficult to decide which ones to keep.
When do you ear tag them? Do you have a video about how you do it? Also, I have asked before about castration. Do you have a video about how you do that? Or can you explain it? I have seen some other videos on regular pigs mostly. Do you pull or cut the spermatic cord?
I'm very new to this ... Grateful for any help at all also where are you located

Quick question, so do you worm piglets that one time and then grow out? Does that still qualify them as I guess “organic”or worm throughout the growing? I think that ginger gonna throw so much muscle
John, I'm sure this is linked somewhere... I've looked! Haha but can you tell me what nrand of fence you all use again?
I know you say it all the time!
Of Course! We use Premier One Electric Netting
@@KCFarms thank you so much! That's what I thought, but wanted to 100% sure! I think my husband and I are going to invest in a set for our kunekunes!
