Practically i think pixel 7a is still better. Obviously display is better on A55 and newer OS but many other things are to be considered. Tensor G2 is better chipset. Connectivity like wifi 6e and USB 3.2 on pixel. Plus plastic body is preferable than glass practically. Personally i like the software experience on Pixel. At the end it is the preference of the individual who is buying.
My Samsung Galaxy A55 died after 1 drop after only having the phone for 1 week. Needless to say, I wish I have bought Google Pixel. But to Samsung's defense - my friends have A55 and theirs survived drops. Maybe mine was deffective.
Whats the use of that higher refresh rate when the phone runs slower? Yes i do agree faster charging speed is needed on pixel but everywhere else pixel cooks
