I was recommended this video and have no expertise in these tools. I just about, more or less kept up with your explanation and was blown away with what you did. How long before we won't be able to distinguish real world vs virtual. 😊👍
yeah. hell yeah. (Also I know your pain of having to turn off the fan so that you can film in a hot room full of hot computers, I see you sweating 😅 haha)
Buy a very large and powerful A/C(air conditioner) for your room and max out the fans speed and buy additional fans for your PC to maximize cooling your PC to use UE 5 because UE 5 runs very hot and is very demanding for electrical and hardware power specifications. I had use UE 5 for one hour personally and is very seriously hot at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes you heard me UE 5 can get hot for your computer at or more than 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
So many inaccuracies and misunderstandings about the technology, but a pretty good use of it. Rather than trying to explain technology and terminology you don’t fully understand, how about instead giving a much more deeper breakdown of what you do know (and you obviously are good at the cinematic aspects of this workflow) and then point people in the direction of external explanations about the tech. Start with the official reference from Epic. Keep this up though, would have liked to have seen more about how you managed the compositing.
Did you set the lighting to infinity? Because many photos and videos of a "actual" moon landing show that the shadows would converge if they were to be extended.
5:52 - 6:06 As soon as your exit the Lunar Lander you realize that your space suit left your neck completely exposed to the moon's atmosphere and as a result you're too dead to make this video and mom's sandwiches can't help you.
I already wrote, tweeted, commented to NASA that they should make UE5 reconstruction of landing sites and Apollo mission rundowns for people as a virtual sightseeing. 😊 Let's copy this effort, guys, you all tell them, too!
System requirements?? I tried to google it but it's complicated for me. And which macbook Pro can run this?? I need windows and Mac both requirements. If you can help then it will be good. Thank you!
Great idea...i wish you made a link to the assets...One thing you must have thought about when you was faking the shots and camera placement is how did NASA get them some of them shots as you can see the camera at times was in some impossible places
They had a camera that was on a mount, they placed it and started recording. The recording would then transfer to nasa. And the take off shot, they recorded them taking off and then that was then sent to nasa. The camera is still on the moon today
hey I have to ask, so far I use PFtrack, houdini nad maya with arnold shadow matte, Does Unreal 5 have this kind of shadow matte technique, or do we all need super expensive LED screens
@@vegardpedersen prepare for a very long learning curve, the easy to look up resources and tuts help alot but often meens days of trial and error or crashes to get something working. the list you need to learn is endless also, not to mention the long d/l times and huge hard drive space, hours loading shaders.its not something you can have a go at without spending weeks gathering resources and knowing how to get them working, none of which is fun. i ran out of gpu memory for detailed scenes,hdd space and patience.good luck tho :}

your moonlanding is more real than what we got on the news
More real than what nasa gave us
Hand held camera shot from the moon of the landing was an interesting choice.
Really amazing video, Unreal engine 5 is definitely going to change both the gaming and the film industry
For sure!!
That was very well done, unreal engines seems so cool. Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you!
Nice work. The final render was really cool. Exciting stuff!

Intro : Yeahhh, thats a moon landing right there
Hi, I would love a tutorial on adding custom animated cgi planes to make fly overs and dogfights using 3D models and after effects and blender.
If you're not sponsored by epic, it's not easy. They need to create a version for filmmakers that don't have time to learn 3d modeling.

could you tell me where you got that displacement map?

UE 5 opens a world of new film making possibilities, now i need to upgrade my rig, thanks Unreal hehe Amazing stuff brotha thanks for the video

hmmm a metroid/samus tutorial would be cool. :D
@2:28 The library is not call Quixel bring. It's call Quixel Megascan. The bridge is to connect you to the library.

Lol. UE 5 > Unity2D/3D 2021 Edition.
UE 5 is beating Unity 2D/3D, CryEngine, and many game engines.
Okay this is crazy 🔥🔥
Thanks man!
Create a realistic Legend of Zelda scene. That would be cool.
It's so interesting video
Amazing video 👍
Thank you
how are you standing in space with bike helmet but great work its mind blowing
Budget cuts bro 🤣
Hey make a studio tour plz
If you can do at home, imagine what can nasa do.
this was amazing, quick question, how did you get the engine fire?
I comped that in after effects. I didn't know the particle system too good in UE when trying this out.
@@IgnaceAleya1 thank you so much!
Can i use cinema 4d as real environment background

Amazing! Now you can do digitally what they needed physical props and sets for back then!
What graphics card is using?
Let's go bro!

This is the proof that Americans did lied about moon landing 😂
In 1969? i dont think we had that technology back then lmao

I am joking or not!! of cause I'm not
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro, you have a Turkish face type.
At 0:39, the audio clip and the film clip do not go together.
The audio is from Apollo 11, and the 16 mm film footage is from Apollo 14.
You are right. We had to be creative due to the license for the usage of the clips
