I found out about the site being shut down earlier today and it was truly upsetting to all of us. Cartoon Network was my life and I love the network so much.
I didn’t know it existed (because I never grew up with the Cartoon Network website)! But I will say this: it is upsetting to see a childhood website go!
Corporate monopolies have ruined everything. From merging the entire internet into just three-four major social media sites that are all terrible, to streaming services replacing classic TV and physical media yet coming packaged with all of the same problems but more expensive and shady. It really feels like the media environment of today is so small compared to what it used to be, and everything feels worse for it.
Kids nowadays will never understand how special Cartoon Network truly was for their flash games. Ed’s smash, Ben 10 kraken, fusion fall and TKO were top tier 💻🕹️🔥🔥
I don’t want Cartoon Network to die, it was my childhood and adult swim brought me into adulthood. I get max with my isp but it isn’t the same. I feel sad to see the end 😢
Anyone remember the badges you would get codes for on cartoon cartoon fridays? I remember coming home from friday night fun at the YMCA with my friends to catch some new episodes and get the gold badge. The nostalgia is insane.
This is giving me a very ominous hint that Discovery actually wants CN to drop dead by the end of the year, and have Discovery Family and Adult Swim as the replacements. Am I overthinking? Or is it actually possible?

I'm not saying Cartoon Network is dead because it's not, but there's gotta be something they're planning if they decide to shut down their website and redirect it to the Max streaming service. According to Cartoon Network, “We are focusing on the Cartoon Network shows and social media where we find consumers are the most engaged and there is a meaningful potential for growth.” Please tell me they're doing something to revive the channel, because right now, it's not looking so good. They say they there are possibilities to grow but it doesn't seem that they are doing much. Let's face it, Cartoon Network is dying and has been since the whole TTG craze.

I didn’t know it existed (because I never grew up with the Cartoon Network website)! But I will say this: it is upsetting to see a childhood website go!
Sad childhood you had.
It’s like finding out your favorite cousin died 😢
I Can’t Believe It, I Love That Website, I’ve Been Going On That Website Since I Was A Kid, And Now It’s Gone?
How Could They, Those Monsters!
why do you speak like a book title
@@lemonedtoast What Doesn’t Matter To You Pal, This Isn’t A Book Title
R.I.P. Cartoon Network website from the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s
We need to start a petition people to get our classics back
Thank god the romanian version of this website still works
If Paramount does this with Nickelodeon’s website, I’m going to scream.
Nickelodeon's website kinda stopped being good in the mid 2010s.
I don’t want Cartoon Network to die, it was my childhood and adult swim brought me into adulthood. I get max with my isp but it isn’t the same. I feel sad to see the end 😢
Me neither, heck we should’ve protested to save the channel back in 2022 or 2023
If I knew this would be its fate, I would have enjoyed it more while it still lasted.
Anyone remember the badges you would get codes for on cartoon cartoon fridays? I remember coming home from friday night fun at the YMCA with my friends to catch some new episodes and get the gold badge.
The nostalgia is insane.
Kid Danger: *wearing his mighty pup movie outfit* WHAT?! Christ on a Graham Honey Cracker! *slaps his face with his hoof*
I'm pretty happy that the classic games have at least been archived in archives like Flashpoint
This is giving me a very ominous hint that Discovery actually wants CN to drop dead by the end of the year, and have Discovery Family and Adult Swim as the replacements.
Am I overthinking? Or is it actually possible?
Nope cause The return of gumball has already been confirmed 😁
CN as a whole really seems to be in the process of dissolving as a brand.
Clarification: They didn’t shut down, just moved to a new building
This was a decision made by the previous management of WB back when they were known as “WarnerMedia” and the person who made this decision is named Jason Kilar. And the new building did took 3 years to construct
Plus, Brian A. Miller said on twitter that they were paying rent for the Burbank building for 20 years which is probably one of the reasons why they want to move.
That’s probably *very* most likely, Because with WBD potentially splitting, Discovery is probably gonna take *all* of the Turner networks, And the other side having WB, Max, And HBO…..
*someone save us*

There will always be a time in your life where you will do something for the last time.
I was watching We Bear Bears and TTG on the CN website or the app, i think? Mid last year. To think that was the last time I would be doing that for the rest of my life.
Another thing gone forever.
Oh god Max is killing websites for no reason.
If the Cartoon Network website was not shut down but was instead updated, I'll be happy
My username on that website was “Grand Seth Dragon” and my avatar was Scoutmaster Lumpus from “Camp Lazlo”. I’m really gonna miss the CN website. 😢
same here,i was making my cartoon network asia acc(i forgot my username sadly) back in 2013 or 2014 i was younger,my toonix avatar was knishmas suit(i love chowder episode "hey hey it's knishmas",it was in latin american toonix avatar since 2009),i miss cartoon network toonix account so much! 😢
I remember clicking on other languages to play new flash games. Boy, was it good to be so young.
In France, the link directed to the French site of CN
I hate the things that get deleted :(
The last relics are fading away.
Let’s all gathered in a moment of silence of the disappearance of Cartoon Network… 🙏
I remember the times of playing Cartoon Network TKO and visited the Mixels website as a fan back in ‘14…
same here,i was do good thing and play slippery disc(it's too hard to played) on cartoon network website since 2014
Rest in peace, Cartoon Network Website. You will be missed.

"We are focusing on the Cartoon Network shows and social media where we find consumers are the most engaged and there is a meaningful potential for growth."
I played those online games so much growing up. So sad to see it go.
I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!
I wish Cartoon Network could go on forever like Nickelodeon. They really have made my childhood and I will never forget the day they got me into Toonami.
I forgot the name, but there was a How To Train Your Dragon game that I was absolutely addicted to. I'm so sad its gone forever😢
Fear not! I'm sure people archived it.
@@cfan6716 that would be awesome
Every year we see our childhood fade more and more 😭 but it'll never be forgotten it'll always have a place in our hearts
Well, this is what happens when you let careless people work on Warner Bros. David Zaslov and his posse are terrible people!

No😢
I checked, and the UK version of the website is alive
You sounded sadder today
I wish I could go back in a time machine and revisit all the amazing things about Cartoon Network back in its glory days the website and all the great games I played on there were an icon of my childhood.
YEAH SAME
Rest in peace Cartoonnetwork website
Amen.
I would play the Powerpuff Girls and Total Drama games among others all the time 😢
*Well, s⬛⬜t.*
First _Nickelodeon_ killed off the fun games from its website, then "Thanos-snapped" its entire app from the app store, and now _that_ channel's competitior (Cartoon Network) is beginning to do the same as well!
*What does **_all of this_** mean for the future of the presence of the most famous TV kid's channels!?*
It’s sad reality for kids tv networks since they’re being the most hit by cord cutting.
Goodbye teen Titans go you will never be missed
They always think streaming is the solution
Funny enough most of the animation fanbase still believes streaming is the future
