    When life gets tough, remember Jesus’s anguish, where we can look at his story and find strength reminding us that even in our darkest moments, there’s hope that keeps us going.

    Actually no, depression by definition is feeling negative emotions when things are going good. When your life is just terrible and things are going bad it’s perfectly normal to be sorrowful.
    That’s why depression can be fixed with medication, because it’s a deviation from perfection

      @eagle-eye125 It takes no confidence, no works, no actions. I have faith alone in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. My Lord and savior who was the propitiation of all sins and is the sacrifice God sent so that we may have eternal life.May the Father in Heaven open your heart to the love of his son, God in the image of sinful flesh, the Word by whom all creation is made, Jesus Christ.

    Jesus came as God in the flesh. He was human & had moments of sorrow, moments of sadness, moments of anguish & moments of anger. Our Lord & Savior was NEVER depressed. Stick to what the Bible says. If you do not know how to interpret some words. You would need to look them up in the Hebrew or Greek language to get more clarification. Do NOT use modern day terms that many will misinterpret. There are many who may suffer from depression. It is NOT the same as having normal emotions/reactions such as anger or sorrow to specific situations.

      I agree with you. He has physical tiredness being wearied with His journey at the well. He felt the sadness of others and cried when Lazarus died. He cried over the nation of Israel when they wouldn't come to Him, receive Him, and accept Him. For God so loved the world. He loved us so much that He would rather die for us and be separated from the Father's love and face His love and rejection so that we wouldn't have to. What a Savior! John 3:16.

    • @sherrygarner
      @sherrygarner 26 днів тому

      @@donatello9482 I do not believe that Jesus was depressed, though. Physically tired, yes. He understood was it was like to be rejected. That saddened Him. He cried when others cried like when Lazarus died. He was tempted like we are, in all points, yet He did not sin. He was God in the flesh. His thoughts were God's thoughts. Depression is in man. Depression can come from the devil.

      I agree with you 100%. Jesus did not suffer from depression. He wept over Lazarus dying. That was not depression. He was wearied with His journey and sat down at the well. That was physical exhaustion. He wept over the nation of Israel because He loved them so much and they wouldn't come to Him. He was in agony in the Garden of Gethsemane at the thought of bearing the sins of the world and facing God's wrath poured out on Him and for the first time being separated from the Father and His love.

      Amen and amen! Same with Elijah, he'd just brung the rain (per God), run 40 miles past Ahab's cart, took down hundreds of false prophets after setting up a whole scenario at Mt Carmel, then was running for his life from Jezebel who threatened to kill him. People say he was depressed because he wanted to die, but we don't consider the context. Elijah was simply done, and God agreed and allowed Elisha the mantle. I've experienced depression before, and it was becoming empowered by Holy Spirit and Holy Spirit filled brethren that delivered me, not ministering to the weakness of my flesh. We should suffer with those who suffer, but we should always arise in Holy Spirit power. I'm so grateful for your comment and for what the Lord continues to do in and through you sis 🤍🙌✨️ All glory to God for truth

    Why does this pastor use every version of the Bible except the KJV Bible? These versions distort the true meaning of what is exactly written. These versions are all less than 60 years old where the KJV is over 500 and doesn't dumb down the original language. Just sayin'...
