I use one since a few years. And now the battery lost a lot of capacity. And guess what, it can NOT be replaced! Withings does not even offer a replacement service. This is really annoying, because the watch actually is very good and the battery used to last for four weeks. Now mine is down to one week only.
IT sad, that we cant replace battery, but what can do someone who has "traditional" smartwatch and must charge almost everyday. Week of working is a dream for this devices.
@@amadeusz12386 a hybrid watch should last longer then a week. My Huawei watch gt2 pro is around 3.5 years old and its battery still lasts for around 7 days with almost permanent use and permanent active heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen monitoring.
Pro tip with third party bands (for any smart watch) activity tracker. Get yourself some third party nylon bands, far more comfortable for sleeping in.
I'm the same way as far as charging. They give you sleep tracking, but it has to be charging all night. I switched to Gshock, and then to the Garmin Instinct. Best watch I have owned. I found that I didn't use most of the shit that you would use an Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch.
Great review, although you didn't mention if it has a luminous dial. I have the original ScanWatch and it only has luminous hands, which I find is a bit vague at 2AM...
Awesome review! How has it been for reliability? I've had Withings watches going back to the Activite, but I've heard a few warnings about customer service and reliability since the Nokia takeover. Them switching from a 5 year warranty down to a 2 year warranty worries me too...
What longevity can be expected for the digital part? I’m thinking about getting an hybrid smartwatch just like this, but the possibility of lack or drop of support from smartphones is keeping me from jumping in, plus if the battery isn’t replaceable I think that’s a deal breaker…
Don't think Withings specifies but should be at least 3-5 years, and generally longer for this type of watch vs smartphones. The battery life is good enough and honestly even with deterioration it will be better than most smartwatches going around..

I wouldn't worry about that, personally I don't use the subscription as it doesn't offer anything I need and that's not already offered free out of the box
I can confirm it does rotate and align perfectly. Prior to the video I was playing around and rotating it, which is why it wasn't perfectly aligned. Hope that's reassuring! :)

It's built really well - only had it for a year and still good as new. I wear it everyday too
My Steel HR, ScanWatch 1 and 2 all work no issues if it helps. Bought them all at their respective launches.

My HSA covers these, and my employer gives me 1k a year in HSA money. I’ll be buying this watch basically free of charge to me 😅 can’t wait.

I personally like the Nova for its design, but if you prefer something more minimalistic (and affordable) the Scanwatch 2 is great!
