The Bus company I work for has these on order for the route I drive on, I can't wait! Going from knackered old Plaxton Panther II that has been to the Moon and back more than once to this is going to be amazing! I have all but begged Control and Training team to be at the top of the list to VF on them when they arrive 🙂
@@BusAmbassador I regularly drive a Yutong E10 on domestic service, the first city in the country to go all Electric for domestic services (that might give a clue where and who I work for). They are excellent, the build quality, driving comfort and features like the HAAS system make them a joy to drive. I know old sailors who have been driving for decades who were suspicious of buying a Chinese bus and who now swear by them. Frankly ADL has to play catch up even with their partnership with BYD considering how good a product Yutong has to offer, it should be noted a number of Chinese manufacturers in multiple sectors have decided to enter the market with a high-quality operator/driver focused product for example Sany Excavators are arguably as good as anything CAT or JCB make. I will let you know what it is like to drive one of these on scheduled service.
@@BusAmbassador FYI I have actually sat in the drivers seat of this very coach when Pelican had it up in yard for demonstration, sadly didn't get to take it for a drive but it felt VERY high quality! Certainly more than the mock walnut interior of the Panthers I drive!

I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and finish of this particular coach. I too can't wait to experience one in the near future.
