Gayle, that was such an adventure! Hubby sat here with me and watched too, which he normally doesn't do. But, the results are definitely worth your struggle and perseverance. 😍
The journal covers are all so pretty. I love the colors and stencil designs used on them. I look forward to seeing you decorate them. Thanks so much for sharing.
Good afternoon Gayle! So happy to hear the hubs is doing well! My fav cover was the pink one!it looks like it’s beggin to be shabby rose journal to me..TFS. Have a wonderful day. 💖💕Hugs!!
I love all the covers. The first cover you sewed together, I see light coming through old church windows. The cover with the circles looks celestial to me. And yes, I see shapes in clouds. 😂😂
Good morning Gayle!! These journal covers turned out so pretty. Love all the gorgeous colors!! I have my left thumb wrapped as I smashed it in the door and ripped part of my nail off. So I sympathize with you!! Have an awesome day...💜
OK, so I wrote on Mondays video and I thought it was Tuesday's...🙄 😆 Those papers turned out beautiful! 😍 Wow! What lovely journals they are going to make! Hugs! Sue ❤
Oh Gayle they turn so beautiful! I cant wait to see you turn them into journals! I was worried for your sewing machine for a minute there, but it made it through!
It has been so fun watching the last two days as you created the covers and then put them together today. I have to admit at first I did not care for the Christmas one but now it is my favorite! Can't wait to see more of these. Have a blessed day!
Good afternoon Gayle! 💕 Lovely, lovely covers! The wallpaper one is my favorite. The last time I did a bit of sewing on wallpaper, mine had a tiny bit of stretch to it, vinyl perhaps? And my machine had a a hissy. 😄 Can’t wait to see these made into journals. Bravo! 👍
Good morning Gayle. The covers are going to be great. Sorry about the thumb I am on blood thinners too. Hope it heals quickly. Glad Mr. A is doing better. Have a blessed and wonderful day.
Gayle, just love these covers….I just acquired several large discontinued wallpaper sample books 📚 and I am in love with them. Best of all they were free… can’t wait to make some covers with this technique of yours….thanks for sharing and have a great day. Hugs 🤗
Those turned out fabulous. Really like how they were muted. They are all so pretty, really liked the wallpaper one for fall. Will be fun to see how you decorate these. I now need to go buy some modeling paste and spray inks.
Good afternoon Gayle. These are beautiful. You are so inspiring and makes me not want to go back to work. I’ll tell my boss you made me go to my craft room. 😂 Hugs 🤗 DarvaDee
I really like all the covers, but the first one you stitched is my favorite. I can certainly see it as a fall journal, but also think it would be amazing for a journal with a medieval theme. I am glad Mike is better, and happy that your friends seem to be doing well. Take care of yourself, have fun, and thanks for sharing your talent and time so generously.
Wow you got a lot of the covers finished! I did my first sewing a pocket on machine, lol. I like when you say it gives it a little funky, well I got it, lol . And think I’ll use old machine when I do my paste covers🤣🤣🤣 love watching!
OMG, I have so many unloved papers, and am always low on covers. This is so fun I have to try it! Thanks for the inspiration and the always great entertainment in your videos!
Hi Gayle!! All of the covers are beautiful!! I'm now very curious to know which digital kits you are going to use in them!! The fun continues!!TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
Lovely covers! You make it look so easy. I think making covers is the most intimidating part for me. I have several different kinds of journals going at once...but no covers! Lol! I'll get there. Love your tutorials! TFS 🤗
Gayle all the journal covers you made yesterday are so fun and beautiful. Especially the Fall and Christmas one in my eyes. Fall has the most beautiful colors of the year. Gayle, I have had the same accident with my cutter, I couldn’t get it to stop bleeding, on blood thinners it takes awhile that’s for sure. Thank you for another great video. Sending love, hugs and healing ❤️🩹
LOVE, LOVE THEM ALL!!! Especially love the the fall and your least favorite spring colors one. Hope you don’t cover the center, maybe Gayle, just a corner Triangle and a center butterfly facing up to it, can’t believe am saying that to you, a master artisan!!! Can’t wait to see all done, work your magic Gayle, and Hope hubby is well. THANKS ONCE AGAIN, can’ wait for the continuance!!
I’m in love with these covers. The inside covers match beautifully. Glad your hubby is getting through good. Same here in Kansas, fatigue and cough. We all just need to keep going. Enjoy life as best we can. Darn blades! Occupational hazard for sure. I need a day for those digi’s you shared. I got to tell you, l got my first eggs this week. I brooded 10 “Tractor Supply Co.” Chicks. I’m in love with these girls. Wish l could share my eggs with you and your Chef Hubby 😁🥚🐓TFS all your beautiful work!
I love the covers. It’s interesting how the modeling paste absorbed the sprays. I have a few 12x12 stencils from my scrapbooking days that I need to find so I can try this technique. Glad your husband is doing better. 😃
That was nerve-wracking!!😳 I vote for using the old machine in these cases....not that you opened the polls.🙃😘😆 These turned out SO cool! Does the paste ever crumble when folded? No more "running with scissors", okay? Be careful! Thanks for another giggle first thing in my day! Adore you my friend! 🌞❤❤❤
Love you, my Peg! Yep, I do put a sewing machine through it’s paces! 😂. The new one passed the test! 🤣. Nope, they don’t crack and are leather like and flexible. Love you, my Peg! ❤️
Those are gorgeous, Gayle but of course I didn't think ahead to how the sewing machine would react. I suppose a slow-stitched blanket stitch would finish the edges too...and would be marginally faster than that machine sewing you did LOL Thanks, Hazel
Good Morning, Gayle! Those turned out so beautiful! They remind me of stained glass. And friend, you need to be more careful with sharp things! I don't want to appear rude but it made me kind of giggle because it was something I would do! LOL. I was always a bit awkward and clumsy until I started taking belly dance classes (in my late 40s!). My teacher, my best friend, moved away and I miss it so much. Anyhoo, I totally loved the videos yesterday and today. Take care out there and I'm so glad your husband is on the mend. Love ya!!
Gayle: you certainly accomplished a lot, even with your bandaged thumb. Sometimes the tools can be dangerous or we can be dangerous. Believe it or not, that’s how I feel with spray paints when I use them. As careful as I am, I get it all over me. Carol from California
Thank you for sharing hope your thumb heals quick I was on blood thinners and bleed like crazy for the tiniest cut .I have same cutter and would problem have done the same thing .
Hi Gayle… just wanted to give you an old fashioned healing remedy for cuts….put Vicks vapor rub on the cut and wrap like you have been. Usually takes about 2 days to heal. My father in law used this all of the time and kept it in his toolbox. He did roofing and siding.
So I guess one could say many of my makes are full of character. 😉 I think this will be something I do soon or the next time my son's girlfriend comes for a crafting session (so far she's done geliplate play here and loves it; I got her her own geliplate and brayer for her birthday Saturday and Sunday is one year since they officially started dating). I hope your thumb heals quickly and that Mike's lingering cough doesn't last as long as mine has/is. Love&hugs
Hi and Hugs Sweet Friend. Zoom doctor appointment went well and now to watch you make your magic. Positive Healing Vibes for Gayle's thumb, Mike, Sarah, Laurette's family. Even the baby wipe is Purdy... I love to make baby wipe Flowers 🌺. My sister-in-law gave me my mother-in-laws, old machine 1970ish and I use it for paper. My new embroidery-sewing-machine is only for materials. My machine repair guy says the older machines were more heavy duty. Everything is beautiful. Off to finish videos. ❤️🐞💕
The covers are gorgeous! Can't wait to see what the journals will look like when you use them. I recently cut my thumb on a pair of scissors I was cleaning. Not fun!
Love, love, love this technique and how all your covers turned out Gayle! You have inspired me to get out some not so pretty scrapbook papers and play with mixed media again! Btw, good job with the dressing on your thumb, Dr. Mike?😉❤️
Most men act like a baby when they are sick. But you have a very special guy who brakes all the rules. Very happy that he is getting better. Big hug always. Ouch about your thumb. I did the same thing when I was cleaning the blade on my can opener.
The covers are fabulous,Gayle! I loved watching your joy as you made them. There will no longer be “ugly” scrapbook paper in my future. 😂💜🌟
Safety first …. Or at least top five! 🤣. SUCH great results on the paper rescue! 😍😍😍
What pretty journals these papers have become. Beautiful.
No other words than simply beautiful!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!👍🏻🙏🏻❤🤗
I absolutely live the wall paper one!! The colors are beautiful!
Gayle, that was such an adventure! Hubby sat here with me and watched too, which he normally doesn't do. But, the results are definitely worth your struggle and perseverance. 😍
Hi Gayle- Those are not only fun but beautiful! Thank you!
Morning Gayle. The covers turned out beautifully. Cannot wait to see the completed journals. Hugs.
Morning Beverly! ❤️
The journal covers are all so pretty. I love the colors and stencil designs used on them. I look forward to seeing you decorate them. Thanks so much for sharing.
Oh, Gayle, these covers are works of art! Love them! I get onto power struggles with my sewing machine too!
but so worth it! Blessings -- Cindy
Beautiful covers Gayle. The one you did not on camera reminds me of stained glass windows. Hugs, Amy💕
Hello Gayle, lovely journal covers, will look forward to seeing them finished. TFS
Just gorgeous, Gayle...each one is uniquely special. Thanks for walking us through the process. From Cheryl in AZ.

They are all beautiful! I love the wallpaper one, those colors!! Was a lot of fun watching and I learned a lot. Thank you my friend. Hugs.....
The covers are beautiful. Such an awesome idea. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I love all the covers. The first cover you sewed together, I see light coming through old church windows. The cover with the circles looks celestial to me. And yes, I see shapes in clouds. 😂😂
The dappled light through sunglass windows is what I saw and an owl on the front cover.
That’s the first thing I saw also…dark inside the church with morning sun streaming through!
YES! The sun is shining through the stained glass.. Id add a flying white dove in the upper left hand corner. that's my favorite one. too
My gosh how fantastic they turned out!
Hello Gayle,
Those covers turned out "Bootiful"......as we say in Norfolk!
Cheers for those.
Tay xx 🌈🌹
Liked all the covers. What a great idea! That is going in my idea book!
Love how the papers turned out, will make great covers!

Absolutely love these covers. As for your day, it seems to me once I have that first boo-boo there goes the rest of the day. Straight down hill. Lol

Every time you say Christmas, I shutter lol. My birthday is Dec 25 and just reminds me, another year has gone by. Where do the go those years lol

You know it, Heather! He’s a man of many talents! 😂❤️
These came out much prettier then I expected. Does adjusting the tension help? Love these
It’s the foot running over the texture paste that’s the struggle. It doesn’t want to feed properly. But I got ‘er done nevertheless! 👍❤️
Hello my friend! I've been absent for a bit- summer keeps me quite busy! Hope you are well. Looks like I have a lot to catch up on! Blessings :)
Gayle do you have a video on how you made the pin you put in your glue?
Good Morning Gayle. 💖💖
Morning Edie! ❤️
Most men act like a baby when they are sick. But you have a very special guy who brakes all the rules. Very happy that he is getting better. Big hug always. Ouch about your thumb. I did the same thing when I was cleaning the blade on my can opener.
I wish I could cut that well with scissors. lol Even with lines to follow, I can't!
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Gail, these are beautiful. Do you use a special sewing needle for these thick covers?
I should use a bigger needle, like a 16, but I just power through with my usual 11, general purpose needle. 🥴❤️
I love the covers. I am wondering how does you sewing machine like the uneven paper. Will you please sew them so we can see. Love your videos
I do sew them on the next day’s video. 👍❤️
