- I coded a Tunnel Bore #datapack in vanilla #Minecraft. This is the Minecraft let's play series called "Beta Pack" where I can code anything I want! edit: i think maybe for the light you could use repeatedly /summoning a blaze that cant drop anything with the tag tunnel light or something and then /kill @e[type=blaze,tag=tunnellight] idk if that would work i havent tested it out but ye
Thank you! Very interesting suggestion. I think I could also use the "light block," which is an invisible light source block, then clear it when the tunnel bore moves out of range. Haven't completely decided which route I want to go yet.

I know I am commenting on a 2 year old video but I have a few notes:
1. The reason the spawner exception didn't work might be because specific spawners (i.e. spider spawners) have a different name
2. When you want to point out certain sound effects maybe consider muting the music in editing
3. Technically a motorcycle has a brake pedal, and also by definition it is a "single track" vehicle on two wheels (imagine it driving in the snow; It leaves only one track)
And before you ask, yes I am german.

I think the endgame items needs some kind of sacrifice to craft them like a pet dog or something you really love in minecraft.

Currently the tunnel bore doesn't have a crafting recipe. Any suggestions? I'll add a crafting recipe very soon. This is how you get the egg currently:

Maybe diamond in the middle iron blocks on the sides and red stone in the corners I say this because diamonds are strong in Minecraft and the iron blocks are because it’s big and balancing and the red stone is for the wiring or iron block in the middle iron on the sides redstone in the corners the reason there is more iron in the middle is because the middle is the biggest
whimzee u didn't code in all the abilities of the previous ones like the blood thunder and the sabre of the lightning master please fix thx :D Also, the scepter of infinite woe has no abilities most of the time

It would be really cool if it required a pickaxe to run and would use pic durablity and enchantments (but can't break it, just bring to 1 durability)
Why don't you make it that if you have the drill in your head you can drill with your head.

whimzee if i change datapck lightning master, pack.mcmeta to 6 and powder snow to water bucket is there any command that requires 1.17? or not and will it work in 1.16.5?
Yes, pretty sure every single "item" command won't work. I think it was "replaceitem" in 1.16.5

You should definitely give it a shot! I make mine using block bench to create the model. You could take Minecraft's default textures when you're just starting out. That's what I did for a long time, and I still even do that now in some cases. If you want to make edits to the textures, I recommend Gimp because it's basically a free photoshop.
There's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm sure you can do it.
@@Whimzee the proper first item I wish to be able to make is a skeleton staff (wand?) that can summon skeletons by expending exp.
I'd also prefer said skeletons to be neutral towards the summoner unless provoked, but I have litterally no coding experience, so I'm just spouting ideas at this point lol

If you play Java, maybe you can use the code from that item as a reference. Although, what I have here likely won't work for bedrock unfortunately.

Spawner have multiple values based on what spawns, maybe that's why? The unbreakable one is the base spawner that spawns nothing?
Is it because the spawner had a specific mob are they seen as a different block in the code

hey! have you tried to make origins? i think if you made origins it would be actual fire like it would be so cool if you could make some
I might look into that at some point, but I haven't looked into modding too much yet. Although I might in the future!

i'm pretty sure it breaks the spawner because it has a diffrent mine craft id than just the blank spawner

I’d titel it something like ‘So I made a Tunnel Bore in Minecraft….’ The current title isnt very like interesting sounding, but the video is great. Also, I’d cut out Some of the more normal minecraft’y bits of the game, everyone has seen those a billion times, speen more time on the actual like thing you create

you msuve not put the difrent tags for difrent spawners cuz spider spawns are prob not the same a normal spawners
this is very similar to the one i made for my survival adventure map.The only difference is that the one i made can go up and down depending on where you look and it requires fuel to work. It also dosent work all the time, only when theres someone driving it. But the animations on yours looks awesome! Mine just cycles between 2 models

You just give yourself the egg with commands. I didn't make a crafting recipe for it.

Delete the datapack and get rid of the items. I didn't make any fancy uninstall function.

Hello, I think at most I'd make a datapack tips video or a roadmap video on how to learn how to make datapacks. There's really good tutorial channels out there like Legitimoose for basic stuff and Cloudwolf for more advanced / niche stuff.
