Hi Tracy, thanks for the great content, I have a question though... Is there a way to use the session volume, or anything similar, in this way but for the crypto market (which of course doesn't have sessions)?
Hey Mo. the volume is the number of transactions that occur at a certain price while the value area is the area where 70% of all the volume has occurred. Great question!
Hi Ernesto! Great question. SVP - stands for Session Volume Profile while FRVP - stands for Fixed Range Volume Profile. The session volume profile starts and stops at the beginning and end of every session while the fixed range starts and stops wherever you decide. The fixed gives you the flexibility to select an area you would like to view the session does not. Hope that helps! Enjoy and thanks for watching!
I trade ES. My setup is basicaly Market profile with 5min/15min bar chart doing VSA for the entries and confirmation. Also market breadth as support for strength/weakness. Would that volume poc migration work well with more volatile market like the ES 5 min chart?
With the method you outlined of tracking the POC movements, wouldn't using the "Developing POC" achieve/track exactly what you are describing more clearly over time? (Instead of using the single POC line)
Great question... When you add indicators to your charts you can same the set up as an indicator template... You do that by clicking the vertical lines with the squiggly line on top called indicator templates... You can then same the template and if you click on the star, it will show up as a number or letter in a circle depending on what you titled the template... I hope that helps.
@@RealLifeTrading That's great. Please, make a video showing that. This is awesome! And more videos with your insights about Volume profile. Really good content. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, I'm a new subscriber and I am still a beginner trader. I love your content and this is one of the best videos I have ever seen. But when I tried to do the vpsv it wasn't free because I can't afford it for now. Is there something similar but free. Thanks a lot and appreciate if you respond 💕
Welcome! Thank you for subscribing, and we’re so glad you found the content valuable. Hopefully you get a chance to check out all of our free education!! It’s all very valuable. As for the volume profile, not that I am aware of. You might be able to search in the scripts part of TradingView to see if another subscriber has published something similar. Or you can see if there is one with the broker that you use. All the best!!!
I've been watching VP videos for a couple weeks now. Didn't understand much but thanks to you, I get it a lot more now. Love from London.
So glad it was helpful!
THIS is the video I was hoping for! Excellent, as always Tracy. Can't wait to try it out.

Hi Tracy, thanks for the great content, I have a question though... Is there a way to use the session volume, or anything similar, in this way but for the crypto market (which of course doesn't have sessions)?
Yep! You just have to select the time of the sessions you choose to use :-) It can be done!
Super video Tracy! Love it!
😄
Awesome Explanation on Volume. Will try it from today. Thanks a ton Tracey!
You bet...
Thanks Tracy. What's the difference between Volume and Value Area? Why they are in different colors?
Hey Mo. the volume is the number of transactions that occur at a certain price while the value area is the area where 70% of all the volume has occurred. Great question!
Soooo good! Thank you!
YES!

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Great Video - explains it perfectly!
HOOOOORAY
its great Tracey .. can i use the poc as support and resistant ?
Of course! :)
It's Tracy not Tracey.
Great video thanks very much!
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Can you use this method on any time frame? Obviously one has to wait longer for the POC to move.
You bet.

Yes. It does

Yes it does... I used to do it manually to keep my charts uncluttered, but yes, it shows exactly the same thing.
Silly question but what are those circles next to your indicators in tradingview? "1 C D" etc, never seen this shortcut ability before.

@@RealLifeTrading Thank you for pointing this out, I never realized the templates had that star feature! :)

It's really works ...thanks mom
Most welcome 😊
Very very Good, Lots of Value.
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching!
Great content! Thank you!
My pleasure.
how do you add the extra indicator that you have divided under as "volume 20") that has the real amount of shares volume traded?
In the same place where you would add a moving average search for volume. The indicator will just be called “volume”. Done!
Do you have any video or study materials on "Supertrend" ? if you have kindly let me know
We have this one = ua-cam.com/video/_vtHjD67jVU/v-deo.html
