Hello, I really like the additional wood and screen you added to the bed. Your garden is coming along quite nice since moving there. You have put a lot of effort into it for sure.
I have one apple 😂 on my super dwarf apple tree every year. You can put organza bags on them if you think it’s birds. Great new bed Mags 👍👍. Yes like my vegepods they take loads of soil 🤦♀️ but I love them. Fab cage too let’s hope the cabbage whites are done soon 🤣🤣 it doesn’t deter the girls though. Some wonderful harvests Mags, have a lovely weekend, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦
I hope it is a tasty apple and worth waiting for. I’m happy with progress. I hope over the Autumn and Winter I will get even more of the garden knocked into shape. Take care. Mags
Nice haul of produce there Mags. Just finished getting my garden shed re-roofed and the garden has had a long awaited sort out. Waiting for the arrival of my first Greenstalk even though I think it will be too late in our season to get it planted up, I can still get it filled and plan on what I want to put into all the pockets. Also at the planning stage for what I want to get for next year, like bare root strawberries and such like. I am also setting up my indoor hydroponic gardens to get started once we get the heating back on … a few weeks to go there I think but I know I can get tomatoes, cucumber and salad stuff growing through the winter indoors and best of all, no slugs. One of the joys of living alone is that I don’t have to grow much and having moved here only a year ago, I only started a small patch of ground so have many options to play with. Even thinking about maybe quail even though I know absolutely nothing about them yet so some research is in my future too. All the best, till next time.
If you can't see the hills, it's raining. If you can see the hills, it going to rain!! 🤣 Great stuff Mags but not sure about the apple damage - I'm a fruit novice! I have 6 beds similar to yours to fill, 2 are 2.4m long. I'm gonna need a shed load of compost so I'll be doing similar to you.
@@mycountrygardenchannel And this is why I am stalling for a while. Gonna cost a bit even with hergle fregle culture, plus I don't want to waste the nutrients over Winter!
you could have planted your kohl rabi closer together, mags. they grow no larger than a turnip, and the taste is out of this world...................brian
Hello Mags hope you are doing well. As for my tomatoes they did really well none had blossom rot. I utilized Dolomitic limestone in my potting soil about a fist full😊

Hiya Donna. You have been very busy. Great to hear how things are getting in. All the best. Mags.
Hi Mags our daughter lia has got four of those beds she loves them and grad children enjoy growing with her.
I’m pleased with the one I’ve built. I’ll be glad to get the other one operational. All the best. Mags

Hiya Brian. Thanks for the heads-up. I’m excited to see how they turn out.
Those gladiolus are beautiful...what color.
I do love them.
