- Going back to my younger years, discovering Iron Maiden. I must have watched the VHS tape with Maiden England a hundred times 😄.

I use Reaper for the little editing I do and a few master plugins. Will probably mix in the box more later on, but for now I think I will stick with the StudioLive until I feel I've got the hang of it 🙂.

A "logical" question. Does doing the hi-hat chicks around 1:16 make a good difference? Would you ever leave them out or no?
Also would most listeners make them out in the original recording?
Depends on the mix. It does not cut through very well in my mix though. I have always played Maiden songs this way as Nicko does it. Most listeners are not drummers and probably only understands a fraction of what is actually being played😁
@@staffanlundholm Yes, I have trouble hearing it, even here, so I can't tell where it sits in relation to the rest. I suppose I'll try it myself and see if I feel anything.
