My fav from Sylvester this track was huge during its hay day . what an amazing vocal and energy this truly defines the peak hour Disco Era ! Still stands on its own today.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sylvester during one of his performance at the warehouse in Nashville, TN. he was a fabulous performer. There will never be another sylvester. I own every song he has ever recorded. His music is timeless. Do you wanna funk, Trouble in paradise. He, just knock you are my friend out of the park

Even though "Band Of Gold" was Disco, anything else from the same record was not. HI-NRG era more like it. But who cares what it is when you can dance to it, right?
I'm still here... saw Syl at the I-Beam in the Haight in what would be their last performance where she told us she was dying and "to don't stop" as a community.... streaming tears currently at the memory.

Love 70's and 80's music. Love drum machines and synthesized sounds. I don't care if artists are gay, straight or whatever. It's the music, the song writing and vibes are what's important to me.
Absolutely. I’m straight and it’s all about the music to me. I couldn’t care less about someone’s sexual orientation. If you’re a good person, you’re aces with me. Love this music.

This song wasn't my style and was always played when the older queens had a leather event. I gotta say it's hypnotic as hell and SEXY and quite suggestive. Love it now.. Whoever said it's POWERFUL nailed it. Rest in Paradise Syl and Patrick: when you two met it was MAGIC.
Patrick Cowley and Sylvester, came back from the Future to let us know, Music is ALIVE, Music is LIFE. Move with the Music, DANCE !!! Dance! It's Your Life !!! DANCE !!!!
I was living in Dayton ,OH ( of all places ) in 1989 and was @ a Chevron convenience store very early one Sunday AM. Needless to say , I was slightly taken aback hearing details on Sylvester's background.
I actually saw him perform in Dayton. I think the place was called 1470 West, it was an old grocery or department store. There are clips of it on youtube. Saw him many times, many places.
