Why doesn't the odo needle go all the way up when turning on the ignition, does it stop at certain rpms for some reason or is it a common issue, I saw this on many RSVs
From the manual, RED LINE ADJUSTMENT (ONLY WITH ENGINE OFF) When the engine rpm exceeds the red line setting, the red line indicator (2) on the dashboard flashes. IMPORTANT The red line setting can only be adjusted with the engine off and the odometer displayed (adjustment range 2000 to 12000 rpm). The default value is 6000 rpm. To display the red line setting, hold down TRIP/V for at least 3 seconds. The revolution counter pointer (1) will move to the set red line value. To adjust : • Turn the ignition key to ì î. • Wait for the self-check to complete. • Press TRIP/V for more than 3 seconds: the revolution counter pointer (1) will move to the set red line value. • The red line setting can be adjusted during the 3 sec onds that the revolution counter pointer (1) is indicating the set value. • Adjust the red line setting with the + key: pressing it briefly will increase the setting by 100 rpm; holding it down will increase it by 1000 rpm. • If the pointer reaches the full-scale value (12000 rpm) it is automatically reset to zero. • 3 seconds after the last adjustment (+ key) the new red line setting is stored and confirmed by the red line indi cator (2) turning on for 3 seconds. The pointer (1) re turns to zero. • If the engine is started during the adjustment proce dure, the previous setting is maintained. The setting is lost if the battery is disconnected during the adjustment procedure, and the previous setting is maintained.
@@ytmandrake Not so much a Rev limiter. As it will rev past the point it has been set, it’s more of a visual gear change indicator, in reality it’s not really needed for road use in my opinion.

I have my temperature light on, I do this manipulation to find the problem and it puts me EFI 0
Efi 0 is nothing. It is for calibrating the throttle position sensor.
sure it is the temp light and not the stand down light ? which looks like a temp gauge when lit up!
No talk bla bla, just write the essentials things and share demonstration, thanks
