Hope you had a wonderful week, Kyle. It’s wonderful to see you are enjoying your shifts; being positive about jobs is a wonderful feeling. Sometimes, people are picked for a reason and being a paramedic/working in care was meant for you. 🦋✨ xx
Well it looks like a wet start of the month! Your day sounds like mine. I do nothing but work and do nothing hahaha! It feels like forever to you about recording haha but us it’s like 2 seconds 😂! At least the weather looks better :)! I considered doing a care home job but I wasn’t sure the details of what is involved! So didn’t do it! So a video would be good!
Great video :) I watch all your videos :) I’m working on becoming a paramedic but I’m 23 so need to do an access to higher education course , have you got any advice on getting the end goal ? Keep up the videos there are nice to watch
Kodi Guides I am nearly finished my access course and have been given a place at st George's and greenwhich.. didn't go to the other interviews! It's a great course to get your place:)
Hannah Muir so you did your access then got onto a training course with St. John’s ? And did not do the uni path ? Also did you have much experience before the access course ?
2OrdinaryGuys I have been told that doing an access course is the best thing for me to do to get into uni so I think I’m going that route (unless there’s a better route then I will change) do you think it’s hard to get into uni with no health care experience apart from the access course (equivalent to 2-3 years of a-levels apparently) but I’ve got not health care experience i left school worked as a builder , then worked in factories but hated it , felt like I’m spending half my life at work and it’s got no meaning so I want to become a paramedic so when I’m spending half my life at work at least that half has a purpose and a meaning which I’m guessing is why you do it aswell , the satisfaction of being able to help others and get paid
Kodi Guides no not st johns I got a place at st George's university to start this September 2018. I finish my access course in June. It's a good course for mature students shows the unis we can still learn. I would recommend getting some experience now and throughout your access course, even if it's only an hour volunteering a week it shows you're keen. Also you need to research about paramedics and be aware of relevant news at all times affecting the profession. Took me 4 years to get into uni that's how I got prepared lol and it worked x
I'm so happy that you love what you do! Keep going x
Vanessa Scf thank you darling xx
The ending made me laugh I’m not going to lie😂😂😂 seeing how passionate you are about your job does show in your videos!
LeftTwixGaming I think everyone should give care a go, honestly it’s amazing x
