My parents purchased an AMT exter SX optional. After a long drive what I felt is it's a good car with lots of features packed in. Smooth AMT with responsive paddle shifters are definitely the highlight of the car. Apart from good ground clearance & visibility never expect an SUV feel from the car. Some missings are adjustable headrest for front passengers & front arm rest. Headlights & horn seems to be very ordinary. Engine power, suspension set up and seats are good enough for city roads but not going to impress you for long highway rides.
Firstly, the review , it was on point , really clean, no nonsense , and I absolutely loved it. Second, I am guessing will this eat into hyundai's own cars , people looking for nios top model , venue or i20 base models may actually end up buying this car instead. Definitely looking forward for exter vs punch

The problem I found with Hyundai cars is the fuel efficiency is not consistent. They always come below our expectations. I used many Maruti and folks wagon polo. I can always predict how much I can expect. Just my opinion. I hear Tata and Hyundai are same in terms of mileage. Just my findings 🙏
Citeron c3 is also expected to have better crash score. But after a lot of people purchased it, the test conducted and prooved to be a zero star car. Only after a crash test we can say how safe is this car.After all the hype if exter also score poor safety rating, a lot of people get cheated. So people should wait until it prooved to have atlest 4 star safety before they going to buy.
If Hyundai is so confident about the safety features offered in Exter, then it should voluntarily sent it for global NCAP testing instead of making false claim. Still feel cheated buying Creta believing Hyundai's claim that 2020 Hyundai Creta can withstand the weight of 2 African Elephants.
Comparing with punch exter has more features , proportion and lookwise my personal openion is Punch is more manly and SUVish look as exter is something like a modified hatct. The addition of 6 airbags as standard is a good point still Crash test ratings will prove it's authenticity as if the shell is not stable for an impact then airbags can't give a good protection.
Was about to book punch but this feature rich Hyundai new born is stealing my heart away.. "সানরুফ খুলুন" and thats Bangla and its available in the list of languages ❤

I had an old i20 with the same engine and that engine takes at least two working days to accelerate. How much the same problem with Tata punch it is also very under powered and weighs a lot for 87bhp motor. What we need is a 100hp 170nm turbo engine or even a Diesel with 90-100hp and 250nm and then we are talking. both Hyundai and Tata have respective 1.4and 1.5L diesel, at least give an option for that.

Turbo petrol were there in Nios and Aura pre facelift but we're discontinued due to low sales. But they offered only manual. If they offered an auto, maybe they would have made quite some impact.

Is that true? Or that is not something to worry about. Also in longer run, will the body weight weigh down and touch the tyres?
It does squat when loaded, there's enough of a gap but stay tuned to our website as we'll be putting it through a long test and our full instrumented tests that will include acceleration and city and highway fuel efficiency too.

Don't buy a Hyundai... Atleast in India. The real pain will start when you will give your Car to the Service Centre. This is a newly launched Model, first four years - you won't get parts because its a new model, Later - you won't get parts because its now old, not successful and blah blah Also, the Hyundai authorised Service centres in India are very substandard - they ruin your car, will misplace parts, deteriorate your vehicle and blame you for it. A 5days work will take atleast 2months to sort out. Still wanna buy Hyundai - Go ahead and feel the trauma yourself.
