Thanks for the information I just bought a superbox elite a few weeks ago The only apps I have working is Blue tv , playback, Blue tv ,and blue Vod . I get that the elite apps aren't going to happen . It would be nice to do an update for people who just bought a superbox and give us area 51 and few other apps that are working.
We made enough noise that other boxes are bringing back many of the apps, haven't heard on Superbox yet
The reply you got from SuperBox is all you will get.. it looks like they caused all of this and now they are the only ones not making their customers whole again.
It looks like all the apps are gone now! Including the Area 51, Robinhood and all of the Elites are gone!

I almost bought a Streaming Box & was probably gonna go with Tangula but decided to stay with Prime & Netflix thru a Walmart Onn Box because TV is garbage & I really watch more YT than anything else so I am going to update my old Laptop to a 22" monitor and Mini PC instead.

Thanks for the update. I have several/many Supberboxes (from the S2 Pro to the S3) and the Monter Box. The only Elite box I have is SB Elite 3. I stopped using the Tanggula in January of 2023.I still got my BlueTV on all of my boxes. College football starts August 24. So, I'm good.
Nice, Yeah that's what many elite box owners need to understand, the elite part is a small addon portion of it's services so they may have paid $20 to $30 more for this elite option over a standard box. Thanks for the comment and the support over the years.

So now they are saying do not do a factory reset on your veesee Box or you will lose a few IPTV apps.

And be watching for any updates you get on new apps for superbox. I miss the elite apps but honestly my elite ultra and elite 2 are still working great and besides the blue tv and vod i still have supreme vod so for now I'm still good ,especially not having to pay a monthly cable bill. My blue tv app crashes and kicks you out frequently and when i contacted superbox all they say is that they are aware and working on it. Its been almost a month. Any update on when this will be fixed@CouchPotatoCafe

My Superbox 3 i can't watch regular TV on Back Up but not the regular app movies work flawless don't use the box much I'm more a VeeSee box user now very happy.

What about the octastream Elite max box...will they loose their elite apps...?
If the elite apps are from the same company I would say yes but contact where you purchased and submit a ticket if your not sure of the apps.
The OctaStream has lost all Elite apps. It is still running their basic VOD, TV, and Replay apps.

I just came home 2 days ago from being on the trauma ward in the hospital for a month with broken ribs and a broken neck I wanted to find when I came back home that my monster box has nothing on it that works watching this video I didn't hear much about Monster Box or read anything but I always thought that and the super box were the same thing anyway if you have any suggestions or information that would be useful for me please respond and let me know thank you very much
Sorry to hear your troubles in the hospital. When you say it has nothing on it that works means no apps such as their service apps, youtube, netflix or any hang on apps etc. Have you contacted them to reset your box are you getting a deactivation notice?
The hang on apps stopped working on the Tanggula Elite Max 2.

Apps are coming back, got four back on the Vseebox.
I too just bought the superbox elite pro plus 3 weeks before shutdown. I did not do a factory reset so i do have 5 or 6 extra apps besidesthe blue apps. My opinion is that i think superbox and the other boxes with elite apps will replace them with other apps im hoping. It would make them look bad if they dont and i would quess there sales would go down the toilet. So here's hoping they step up and do whats right for people who spent extra for elite apps. I was going to buy the Superbox Elite Ultra when it first came out so glad I didn’t. I still have my Elite 2 and Elite 3 though. Is Tangula any better offering more apps even though they been also affected by the shutdown. How does Vseebox elite compare to Tangula which has more apps currently.
Tanggula seems to be the first to step up with additional replacement services, Just going from what I heard from viewers though.
My Superbox still works. But a shutdown has always always always been a risk. Most of them are run from China where shutdowns have been rare. But lately the global copyright hounds have made inroads in China and this will put pressure on the loaded boxes.
Also want to note this can happen with standalone app subscriptions. Got one "somewhere" and paid for a long period of time. Great. I have a Superbox but I wanted a different sub for mobile use. It was closed down 45 days later. TorrentFreak covered it so I knew what had gone wrong. Oh well. That risk was always possible. Sometimes the cutting edge cuts. Life goes on.
That is my thoughts. These billion dollar companies are aware, and it's a matter of when not if this box becomes useless. It's been a good 5 year run and it has more than paid for itself.
You also have to remember from the start of cable tv, sat tv etc it's been an issue and still continues today. These boxes are no different

I tried several times to get a response from customer service when my box shut down and the elite apps disappeared and got absolutely nothing. I will never buy a super box no matter what they say. Because what they say is nothing more than garbage, just like the Company
You say your box is shut down, does it give any warning notice or any other notice after start up? I would do a reset and you should still get everything but the elite hang on apps

I have a Tangula Elite and the Box continues to Buffer constantly. It now has its 3 main apps down Omega , Live Tv and cant remeber the other , I got in in May of 2023 and Very Frustrated please help if you have any info
Do you have a VPN on the box? Many times it give a much better stable connection because some internet providers will put levels on streaming

@@narflexel disappointing but true. The Elite apps are 3rd party apps and no matter what superbox you have they only deal with their basic 3 apps BlueTV VOD and Playback unfortunately

Thanks for the update and explains why my apps don't work causing the uninstall. I was getting concerned about being ripped off but as long as the Blue suite is working for sports and regional TV networks, all is good. Is anyone using a VPN with any of these Superboxes or is it necessary and/or why would VPN use be important?

@@CouchPotatoCafe do you have a video on how to install or use a VPN with the Superbox? I notice in one of the Apptk's through Superbox's app store, a DNS changer. I downloaded that but didn't dive into it for fear of hacking etc. Are any of these viable solutions that do something similar?

Yes it will always be a door for streaming & these boxes. Now with that said... If the box is coming out with a brand new box every year sometimes twice, that should alert you that the old box haven't caught with the new features. Wait a couple yrs before buying another box, if this is the route you choose? That's all I got & keep streaming.
From what I am seeing is there has not been a big change in hardware but in software and apps more then anything.

Well first off, I don't work for Vseebox, I don't work for anyone. Second I am not Steve either and I just tested the vsee elite and all the elite apps are back and working. You may need to reset or hard reboot your box.

Yeah, I'm letting viewers know my recommendation to stay away from the elites, just purchase a standard box and hang apps on as they want themselves.
Are the boxes still capable of streaming ppv stuff like boxing & UFC events Live ? Or is that one of the apps that are gone also ..im looking to get a box i want it mostly for local channels in usa & ppv sports events like Boxing , Ufc & Wrestling what would be the best box that would suit those needs right now ..im brand new to this just cut the cable cord been getting by with Pluto Tubi Peacock & the free Google channels on my Google Chromecast Tv dongle but i want to be able to watch local channels & Ppv sports .
From what I see Yes they are this only effected the handful of Elite hang on apps

If people would just figure out how to install a service of their own not only would they save a butload of money on the box ( i paid $30 ) but if they ever shut down you can always find another service. I pay $15 a month for my service. Hell i waste more than that a month.
The trick is finding those services. They show up on AliExpress from time to time until they get taken down, but where else can regular people who are not on forums or Discord or know the secret handshake just go to buy one of these? Nobody knows.
Wow that's crapy. Your information is always great. I hope this blows over I have a Vsee2pro and a tanggula. I guess they seem ok they don't have elite tied to it. I rely on streaming either firestick and 3rd parties and streaming boxes

All the boxes standard apps are working fine and so far only Vseebox Elite are back as per most owners/viewers

The boxes all have their primary services which you get a lot of programming from and work well but the elites are just hang on apps which are nice to have but they can't guarantee the elites apps are here to stay any more. Check out this deal which I like.

If you haven't heard yesterday, 08-30-2024, a lawsuit was settled against 'providers' of streaming services considered pirating media. ELITE is one of the servers involved to be shut down in the lawsuit just settled. Others also as well as a $2M fine.
I assume these boxes can still stream regular channels as of now.

@@rleslie845 I am not sure of the other channels being available, as I stated. I don't have a box. YET. I've been researching them for a week or two now. When I go to seller's sites and they state a Superbox Pro+ and Superbox Ultra then state Octastream as replacing them I with no explanations about them, I became confused, confused, suspicious. As not being upfront. Then I heard the news and it all made sense. But why not be honest, as to what does work?
So, I'm not sure whether to spend the $$ on one.

Right now as far as elite boxes go, I Vseebox Elite reinstalled the elite hang on apps and working fine now

Really sucks that all the elite apps are no more specially right before football season! Well atleast blue and sun still work but elite always had stuff first before blue and sun and was a very easy user friendly app! But is what it is part of the xp of buying the boxes I've had them since the first superbox and have upgraded as new boxes come up loved the elite series!

How do we get those apps you say are working?
So far it's been on the vsee elite box and restart the box not just asleep you can also unplug it for about a minute and plug it in. If there are apps available they will now be listed for you.

In my opinion, SuperBox has shot themselves in the foot BIGTIME. Preloaded IPTV boxes usually have about $100 worth of hardware and the rest of the high cost being access to servers, or services. SuperBox has to realize that this move will cost them customers for a very long time, even if actions are taken NOW to restore the services paid for by the additional cost for their preloaded boxes.
Superbox was not at fault but the owners of the Elite segment is who shut off services and when that happens the TV Box companies get hurt by it too, I just have a problem with many on how they react to it.
@@CouchPotatoCafe Ah-ha! The old "blame game". Who ever is at fault, the unique servers & services that only come with the box aren't there now. That's the bottom line. OK, let's see just how fast the cut off services get restored. That will tell the story.
We have a Tangler elite box the X5 pro whatever it is the reason I told my husband to get it was because I heard it doesn’t buff. There’s no buffering there’s more buffering in this box and the other one I noticed that the stream doesn’t buffer and it does have a lot of good movies on there new releases I’m into new releases mostly can you recommend a box that is very up-to-date with new releasesand is not bad with buffering I know you’re gonna get buffering all his stuff not buffering and still buffers. I really think it’s a server the cable company doing I’d appreciate it. Thanks. Keep up the work, dude.
By the way, I discovered the app Tubi TV. I really enjoy it. I like the way they separate the categories stories and it seems to be stuff that I’d like.
If you are buffering while using the TangTV app then you might try a VPN and even try to hotspot your phone to the box to check that internet connection with it.

Elite box is a SCAM! I did wasted $400!!! I am trying to return it to Amazon and they want to charge me almost $80 for so called restocking fee.
Scam is not what it is but an outage that is being fixed or replaced with the missing services, ONLY the hang on Elite apps were affected. Not sure which box you are talking about but read some other comments. I know it sucks and will happen in the future with other services
