One of my hobbies is watching people on UA-cam react to Raye, and showing her to as many people I can. LOVE YOUR REACTION ❤❤ I appreciate your video to the wonderful Raye!!!
Great reaction. Raye is a brilliant live performer. Can I suggest reacting to Raye singing a medley of her songs at the Brits Awards. The Thrill Has Gone at the Mercury Prize Awards. Also Raye’s SNL performance. I also agree with the suggestions other people have made in the comments. The list is endless.
Amazing reaction. You have to react to the full Album My 21st Century Blues. And review the whole thing from the start as it's a story all the way through. Simply mind-blowing production and every style imaginable. Yes react to the whole thing you will not regret it. Everyone likens Raye to Amy at first but if you listen to the Album you can hear virtually every imaginable top tier artist from the last 30 years singing her songs she's incredible. Live recommendations are 1) Her medley at the Brit Awards 2) It's a man's man's world at Montreux Jazz festival A generational talent for me she's put my faith back in music.
How would you feel if I couldn’t help myself and listened to some of the songs on the album??? 🙈 I think I can definitely do the live album. I preferred the live version of this than the studio version although they’re both great.
Her album My 21st Century Symphony (not the blues) recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall is so crazy good. This video was taken from that concert. Unfortunately not many (maybe no more than this song) songs from that album has been shared on UA-cam. 🤓🇸🇪
I came across your channel and subbed on occasion of your reaction(s) to Ren, maybe I've mentioned her in my comments there, but in the end it doesn't matter who or what made you do this reaction, I'm just happy you found her, I love your ways of reacting honestly, and your musicality! If you keep doing her and Ren I'll spend a lot of time on your channel... Peace and love from a BavaRAYEan RENegade
P.S.: Please please reserve your initial reaction to the album for us to watch, I love your authentic reactions, as I'm not a vocalist myself I'm also interested, but not that much in a vocal analysis, that nice when it comes with or after an initial true first listen, but without the latter it's only half the fun for people like me (and we might be the majority). You could listen to her entire album asap and record that experience, and then upload it one song each, or even put it online as an album review, quite a few reactors did that, and it makes sense because it really is a body of art with a storyline from start to finish. So even if you want to upload seperate videos, please make sure to film your reactions back to back in order of the album, and upload in that order... Be aware beforehand that she has two versions of her debut album: "My 21st Century Blues" is the studio version which was released first and generated some big hits like Escapism, but the video you've watched is from her live album "My 21st Century Symphony" - both are great, but quite different vibes, the studio is darker, more electronics, beats, sound production, crazy vocal layering, the live is warmer, the choir replaces the layered vocals, the great orchestra gives it this feel of an epic performance, and her incredible stage presence. Personally I prefer to watch her live, though her studio album is easily one of the best in recent years... Please consider reacting to both the studio and the live album (this performance actually was her opening song for that live recording which was done at the same time as the video...). Unfortunately most of the live album tracks are audio only for us fans outside the UK, but the whole show was recently put out for cinemas and premiered on Broadway NY not long ago, so I do hope I'll be able to watch the full show on a big screen, with dolby surround sound, at a cinema in my area sooner or later... I have a proposal for a thing I've not seen on any other channel before, you could make a real difference: How about listening to the entire albums "at the same time" back to back. You've started with the first song of the live album, so I'd suggest you might listen to the studio version next, and after that just continue listening to the other songs in order but studio and live back to back, just for the second song "Hard Out Here" start with the studio and after that head over to the live recording, and so on, back and forth... You could do that in one or two focused recording sessions so you don't have to wait long to really discover the greatness that she is, and then release one video every week or couple of days, each one about one song, but featuring both the studio and live album versions, I'd come back for all of them! Can't wait to see your reaction(s), and actually I've never tried listening to the albums in that way, usually I go wither either the complete studio or the complete live, or a full live show like her incredible set at Montreux Jazz Festival (a couple of songs from the album, a few older hits, and an incredible cover of James Brown's "Man's World"... The latter she also performed yesterday at the American Music awards 50th Anniversary Special, uploaded on her channel today, if you're interested you could watch that one even before into really taking a deep dive with her albums...) Sounds good? I do think so... Peace and love from a BavaRAYEan RENegade! Edit: P.P.S.: Please don't be afraid of running out of content for RAYE when doing the entire album at once, she has so much more to offer...
@@thisisshari lol. you're a good girl, but a bad reactor... just kidding, yes, then please review "My 21st Century Symphony" - music can't get any better...
Shari, Your reaction review analysis was top notch! Please go to Raye's 21minute(4 song) Tiny Desk or Montreaux Jazz performances and/or most recent (week ago) AMA 50 Anniversary tv event performance of Its a Mans World (honoring James Brown). 💗🌹🎇

Say what you like. Some people are just natural geniuses.
"her lyrics are dope". Yup, she is a lyrical genius. And singer. And songwriter. She does it ALL.
