just outstanding video's Richard, you are definitely a natural, the transformation you have done from when you first started is amazing, love it man, keep up the great job!
Little tip for ya, we went bowfishing Wednesday night at Allreds and seen some hoss crappie and some good flatheads out by the rocks on the way to the bridge
New subscriber to your channel. Me and all my fishing buddies from kansas absolutely love watching your stuff. We are a bunch of silly sombitches anyway and you make us feel right at home! Keep'm comin!
Machine....you ever try using a slip bobber rig? It would allow you to keep your jig at any desired depth without counting your jig down or hitting bottom and reeling a few cranks. We use it for a variety of species down here... pretty sure you could put it to work as well
My son thinks you're the Croppie king we we love your videos you've been teaching me a lot I just can't get them to bite like that I don't know what I'm doing wrong
Ive learned alot from your videos and im catching tons more crappie, its just hard to jig when my lake are constantly white capping. At night i do excellent though when its calm
Richard Gene The Fishing Machine Awe, thanks Richard you remembered me! Thank you! It will be so awesome when you get the time to... We are all looking forward to it!
Great video RICHARD . Always look forward to your new crappie videos . It's supper hot and rainy here in Mobile , Alabama . As always : Life is Good!!!
Richard, I've been fishing from a kayak/bank the last 5 or 6 years and love it but, You have got me wanting to further my game with a boat/ electronics so I can get after them all year long. Love your videos!
I love your channel...love the little screeches at the end of the videos. Makes me laugh...GO FISHING WHEN YOU CAN CAUSE IT'S GOOD FOR YA . Quoted by Richard Gene
Love your videos! Keep'em coming !! I released a 2lb. 9 oz. slab back in the water at that same Yellow Creek ramp about 10 years ago! It was gooood fer me !!
Hello again my friend, another great video. You are the man! Got a question for yee. Have you ever seen the crappie checker b&m makes? It's called the b&m slabmaster crappie savor. Those slabs you catch that won't fit in easy checker should fit in that one. Check it out I think you'd like it. See you next time brother!
Another great video brother! I hope them there birds didn't poop on ye! I liked your rap about fish in the pan....you are cool man! I am going bass fishing at 6am in the morning, but I am taking a crappie rig and try fer some. I live in GA, and Lake Hartwell isn't as good as the lakes you have, but I will try.......and the boat owner has a heavy foot on trolling motor. Tell Elmo to go fishing, 'CAUSE......IT'S GOOD FER YE!!!!!!
I don't know how I missed this one, I though I'd seen em all Elmo ! What a great informative and comical video ! Your channel is the best on you tube Richard! Keepem coming my friend!
RG you are taking away all my excuses why it wouldn't be a good day to take my wife fishing with me 😂. She's sees you catching them all year.Love the videos keep them coming!
I caught a 22" walleye while crappie today on a 5' ultralight rod with 4 lb test. I caught it on the same jig that your using. Thanks for the great information on catching more crappie.
ive gotta 14 foot alumicraft and a 15 horsepower johnson, riggin like yours for crappie, same brand troller, moving from michigan to cedar bluff by weiss, love your weiss lake vids alot since thats primarily where im gonna fish..thanx for the boat launch scenes, will come in handy, love it,,fish on brother...don ellzey

I left a brand new Buck knife laying on that bank behind you about 23 years ago. If you find it, give me a holler. And keep up the good work. I'm a decent fisherman, but I still learn stuff from your videos.
People have requested it so I need to get on it, but at the moment I don't. I mention it a few times here and their in my videos but not specificly. Thanks for watching Richard!
I used contact cement. Once it's on it will never come off. You can use a cheap paint brush to apply it. Apply it to the back of the carpet and whatever your sticking it too. Its a little hard to work with but its well worth it. Oh and don't forget to wear a mask cause the vapors are very strong
Great video Richard!!!! It is hot here in Atlanta. Them crappies are not bitting like they should be. It been raining like crazy too. I'm have to try your trick to see if I can get them to bite.
Great video Richard. It's hot here in the Memphis area also. Say if I can ask, you being a carpenter and all. What glue did you use to get the carpet to stay in place? Did you primer the plywood sections? Thanks for the great videos! Hi to Elmo!
The best thing to use, no doubt, is contact cement. you have to aply to back of carpet and the surface you are going to stick it to. It's a little difficult to work with, but once it's stuck it will never come off. You can use a cheap paint brush to aply it. Make sure to wear a mask because the vapors are very strong! Thank you for watching Ken and Rick!
Hey Richard Gene "The Fishing Machine" do you take people out on trips? I would like to come up there and try to catch a few of those summertime Crappie. I'm here on Ft. Benning and was think about taking some leave to do me some much needed fishing.
I hope Too be able to do this one day. I still work 40 plus hours a week so I can't really plan trips. I go fishin every chance I get, but because of work/ othe obligations I don't know when those trips are. Thank you for watching Maurice and I hope to go fishing with you one day!
Another great video, Machine! Love it!I finally got some decent fish out of the lake, even in this HEAT! Whew-WEE!Question: did you do the green turf on that boat? I'm prolly gonna get me a boat real soon, and wondering how to rig it up.YOU'RE THE BEST!
Thank you BD621! I did! What I used was contact cement. you can apply it with a cheap paint brush. Make sure to wear a mask because it has very strong vapors. Apply the contact cement to back of turf and to whatever surface you are putting it on. It's a little hard to work with but once you put it on it will never come off!
I caught a crappie last week that had a large black stripe from his head down his spine to his tail. I thought it was odd because I'd never seen one before. Would that of been a "black nosed" crappie as you said in this video? If so, are they rare or special in anyway? I ate him!
Yeah that sound like a black nose! i haven't caught a whole lot myself it was just about a month or two back I caught my first one. From what I've read they are black crappie with a recessive gene.
love your videos I'll keep watching there great and funny at the end how many crappie rods and reels do you have are they all the same do you have a Lew's spinning reel for Crappie
I probably have about 10-12 in all. I have different types that I use fore different ways of fishing. I have 2 lews spinning reels. Thank you for watching Jonah!
What jig r u using I asked earlier but it was a pretty old video u had made and where can I order it especially the pink and white jig u used I an earlier fishing from bank video thanks
