I remember when Fabianski was our goalkeeper, and a few times he got caught off guard by quick free-kicks, which often led to Arsenal losing because of a lack of awareness. The current team is the exact opposite - they are the masters of dark arts, and street smart to no end. It's a dramatic change in mentality.

A draw at the Etihad is always a good result. The title isn't going to be decided by yesterday's game anyways. Arteta got it right, just unlucky at the end. He did the same thing Mourinho did with Inter against Barca. 6-3-0 formation.
Of course, when you defend for 45 minutes with 10 men and concede in the last seconds it feels like a loss but there’s a bigger picture. A positive, Man City’s system is revolved around Rodri, Man City will get exposed and lose a few games this season without him

For the second half tactics….Arteta said he knew what was coming from the beginning. Just like Arsenal last season, he knew City will plan to attack relentlessly for the first 15mins, this explains the set up, but the plan was to change it after City attackers are a lil exhausted from their efforts in those first 15-20 mins. Same strategy City used in First 20mins of the first half.
