Met EC in , Lonsdale Sports Equipment shop in Beak Street, near carnaby street, Dennie Mancini the owner at the boxing shop 🥊🥊 made everyone welcome, both R.I.P
I remember years ago the fight that was before the fight with Errol Christie and Mark Kaylor scrapping out on the street before the actual fight which could have gone either with both fighters hitting the deck, was a real slugfest. The event was slightly marred by racial tension at the time as Kaylor had used inappropriate language to Christie. It was a decent fight though.
I think of him as Bruno's contemporary, but not Eubanks'. I saw Christie sign his professional papers on ITV going on for 10 years before they began featuring Eubanks.
I had a few training sessions in london and then a few years later seeing whether he remembered me he didn't then later he was like I swear I trained you before nice guy told me about diet and its amazing what you can learn off one of the legendary amateur fighters and a decent pro they have seen a lot more than you basically but a top.man and real shame because I would have come back except life takes over at times so god bless you errol
