Shadow Hearts Covenant is one of the best games that I've ever played. It's beautiful because of it's story, music and the ending. It's such an adventure with a moving story that you will never forget. Just when you thought you've seen everything, you see more. It's deep and emotional story will keep you interested the whole journey. It annoys me that beautiful games like this don't get the recognition they deserve. The gameplay may have been linear and boring puzzles. But I enjoyed and loved this game so much that it helped me so much with my dad's death!
Shadow Hearts Covenant for me, is the best jrpg that has ever been made. good story, good gameplay, excellent OST, good characters, setting. It has absolutely everything and well. I'm really looking forward to Penny Blood, and feeling something similar to what I feel with this game again. it's incredible.
Shadow Hearts Covenant is one of my favourite games of all time. I remember running home from work one evening being excited about starting the game for the first time back in Sep 2018. I heard good things about it and always liked the look of it, so I set my PS2 up and loved the game right from the title. A moving story with a beautiful soundtrack. This game will always be special to me because it helped me with my dad's death.
😭😭😭😭 What I'm saying is that it wasn't just a game for me. I lived the story, even with the first part of the series. And every time I hear this song, tears come to my eyes. Yuri is my hero and it's always sad when you lose your heroes.
Loved this game. I know a lot people don't like the JRPGs that focused a lot on the romance between the main characters but playing shadow hearts 1 and 2, FF VIII, FFVII, FFX, and Xenogears were really amazing for me as a teen. Games that you could always share with your gf lol.
@SchizoRiku So... the "true" ending in Shadow Hearts 1 is the bad, in which Alice dies, but then in the ending of Shadow Hearts 2 he come back to the very start, with every memories and so... the good ending in Shadow Hearts 1 is the one who is triggered by Yuri the second time he lives the story, 'cause the second time he knows how to save Alice! :O Well, now the good ending of Shadow Hearts 1 makes sense! XD

i dont recall seeing this in the video game maybe it was an end credits video or something after completing the game a hundred percent. But after all these years this game is still one of my favorite games of all time, and I just love the fact that each and every major character be them good or evil shows up for one final time to thank you for enjoying this grand adventure.

I don't think any main character in a JRPG went through anywhere near as much shit as Shion went through, before, during and after the game. It''s like the entire universe hates her even more then Shinji Ikari. Most JRPG characters lose their hometown. Shion loses her entire home planet. Most JRPGs lose their parents. Shion got to watch her mother be ripped apart and devoured by mutant flesh robots while she hid under the bed. "I've got to put it back.... I've got to put it back...."
This is such a sad, lovely but bittersweet song. It really made me appreciate the heartaches of so many characters, but I would say this song is the theme song of Karin's life.... that poor woman went through so much shit to die a young mum defending her son from demons.
Even We're in the middle of E3 2018, i'm surprised to found somebody besides me to enjoy this irreplaceable masterpiece here. This game it's so underate, after Azure.cop has been dissolved but I really hope for someone bring this franchise back to JRPG Market.

I didn't think any game could equal the quality of Shining Force III and Panzer Dragoon Saga for me, but this game did it. One of my all time favorite games now, arguably the best game I've ever played.

I played all SH games and Koudelka. Every time I hear this song and ending from SH1 I feel many emotions. It doesn't happen to me often after games. This title is great and beautiful.

Played both shadow hearts 1 & 2 to really appreciate the game. I did everything there is to do in both games(all weapons, costumes, tickets, events etc) except I didn't get the seraphim for the first game lol I really wish they would make a new SH game

I never said Yuri couldn't let go of a dead girl, I said that Alice couldn't let go of Yuri either. It is a selfish thing on both sides and a horrible thing for Karen, considering she had to be around Yuri not being able to love him any more than a mother when we all know how she really felt... thank god Alice and Yuri are together... cause that was the important thing, no?

Either way, in the normal timeline, this caused a time paradox. The reason is, Yuri's mother is Karen, however, Karen is a girl was also born in that same period.

it's sad that SH is underrated. it's such a great game! i love it better than FF! the characters were amazing and i used and trained them all! best ship imo are Yuri x Alice and Kurando x Anastasia! i haven't played New World yet, but Hilda and Ricardo seem interesting!
yuri tried to bring alice back to life so it was yuri who wouldnt let go did you even play the game and the end was good he went back in time to when he first met alice to save her

Yuri, Karin, Kurando and Anastasia the first time around; I wanted all the shapshots, so naturally Anastasia was at a high level. On new game+ I replaced Anastasia with Lucia.

it's sad that SH is underrated. it's such a great game! i love it better than FF! the characters were amazing and i used and trained them all! best ship imo are Yuri x Alice and Kurando x Anastasia!

This game was one of those rare games that defined a generation. I really hope they make a Shadow Hearts 4. ^^

yuri tried to bring alice back to life so it was yuri who wouldnt let go did you even play the game and the end was good he went back in time to when he first met alice to save her
my final team was Karin, Yuri, Gold Bat (Joachim) & Blancha. Joachim was awesome: put him in Gold Bat form, 5th key, and he got dish out at least 5K worth of damage :D -> btwn, where can i download this vid? awesome awesome song and ending!! T_T

Yuri, Karin, Kurando and Anastasia the first time around; I wanted all the shapshots, so naturally Anastasia was at a high level. On new game+ I replaced Anastasia with Lucia.
