Hi Daoiri, thank you so much. You finally started some instructonal stuff here on YT. That is what I have waited for after buying a zouk being inspired by your airport video a few weeks ago.

Thanks so much Daoiri. I recently discovered the Irish Bozuki and Irish Bozuki music. You are the best I've ever heard. I can't stop watching your videos. I play a little mandolin and I hope to purchase an Irish Bozuki or Octave Mandolin soon, so watching your UA-cam channel will really be a huge help in learning the instrument.

I uploaded a video on my channel as I just started to get a hang of it. I’m so glad I picked up this instrument, but you were the one that got me into the Irish bouzouki! ☘️

Daoirí Farrell You made this all look so easy, who come I cannot get the same sounds when I play, my playing is wild just like Jimmy played way back in the days of brilliant ricking music

This is great! I took a voice lesson or two with you during the pandemic and just got a bouzouki for christmas this year. I've been playing a lot of these shapes but I didn't know the names, thanks!

I enjoyed the lesson. Most of the time, I keep mine tuned to GDGC because I like that Greek trichordo bouzouki sound, but it's only a matter of tuning the first two courses up a whole step to get back to one of the standard Irish bouzouki tunings. It's my favorite instrument now, but mostly, I do a lot of noodling on it, 'taxims' and whatnot, also "Latin" (AfroCuban) rhythms. By the way, your version of "Creggan White Hare" is on one of my playlists that includes a lot of my all-time favorites. I heard the beginning of "Don't Fear the Reaper" when you played that one chord, and I happen to have a cowbell here. 😁
Alright, then... I wish you and yours continued success and true prosperity. PEACE!

Your version of "The Foggy Dew" is the most epic song ever. I'm an absolute fan.

No, actually it is a Justin Rogers guitar-bodied bouzouki, there is another youtube clip demoing it.
