Right after she took off all the long blondish highlighted weave extensions after she was booed at The Soul Train a year earlier...I hated that happened tho because I didn't agree that she "acted or sang white". But I do like the Whitney that emerged from that. This way she seemed more comfortable and authentic, when they LET HER BE HER! She didn't wear that hairdo long but she looked beautiful in that short bob! The All The Man I Need video! Ugh! YESS mam!

I never said they had beef. I said weren't speaking at one point. She not going to tell ebony the truth . November 1990 there was no internet no magazines like The Source, XXL , VIBE . Just magazines like Right On' , Black Beat and Word Up. I read about it but in those magazines about the situation that's why ebony ask her about and said there just friends. I was in late teens when this was going on . Keenan Ivory Wanes did a skit on in living Color about Arsenio and said that those two weren't speaking this was right before they film Harlem nights. Sounds like we read the same ebony issue .
