The only reason why I recognized The Moon Theme from Duck Tales was because I recalled the Game Grumps video where they played it, especially the animation based off of the hijinks that came with it lol That was truly a shocker to me that I recognized it from one relatively niche(?) place

Mostly depends on the games you've focused on. Easy is mostly popular modern games, Minecraft, Angry Birds, etc. Medium is mostly grittier modern games you'd find on PC, Playstation, or Xbox. Hard is mostly taken up by Nintendo games. So for people like you and me who mainly played or watched Nintendo games, Hard is actually the easiest since that's what we etched into our memories.

Pretty sure fairy fountain debuted in A Link to the Past first on the file select in 1991 before it appeared in Ocarina of time in 1998. It seemed like the difficulty was directly related to the difficulty of playing the piece instead of how hard it was to recognize it.
Yes! Many of the more iconic Zelda melodies originated in Link to the Past, and that was absolutely one of them. "Zelda's Lullaby" is another that many folks probably think originated from OOT, but didn't.

Without the characteristic thumping noises I thought it was Oblivion's or Morrowind's theme, not Skyrims. It fitted Oblivion more. Also sad that Final Fantasy series hardly ever gets included in quizes like this. And if it is, it's usually just the same song from FF7 over and over again :/
