I've seen Coheed 38 times now. Ive been going to their shows since 2004. There are a few fans I know of that have been to around 120 Coheed shows, which is insane. its always a damn treat to see them.

Hey man, been waiting to hear your thoughts on the live concert! I've seen Coheed eight times live but never got to see GAIV Neverender! I notice the crowd gets into it and sings the most to songs from In Keeping Secrets album and their latest album (Vaxis 2). I've seen Tool, Faith No More, Mastodon, Weezer, among others, and Claudio's vocals outshine every other live band by a mile. So glad you got to enjoy them! Look forward to more reactions (I'm 42, so hear ya with the hips!)

His vocals were great. It’s a very unique voice to. He doesn’t push at all but still has power.

Coheed is and has been one of my favorites bands to listen to for 23 years now, but there's a ton of albums and bands that get much more of a heavy rotation in my life. But there is a reason why Ive been to 27 Coheed shows now, and it's exactly what you said. Claudio is special live, still blows my mind every time.... but the the band as a whole always sounds so tight and puts out such. remarkable show every time.... and AMAZING when you catch smaller venues. They are and have been my favorite live experience since around show 3 for me, and second place wouldn't even be close.

I've seen coheed 9 times, and the last time i did was the first time i wasn't down on the floor. It was definitely a different experience, but i felt the energy was still there. In your case, it was probably down to the crowd not pulling their weight. Every time ive seen them it was a madhouse, especially when they did they did the full album tour for this album back in '17.

I think Adelaide might just be a bit chilled. Saw QOTSA earlier this year. That was pretty mellow too. And those guys bring it too. Either way- I’d go again

been to a whole 2 shows in my 31 years on this planet. saw periphery back in 2014 they were so good live. 2nd show was the reunion show for Shadows Fall a few years back and hot damn was that a show. A couple of New England metalcore bands also reunited for that one event and even had a person propose to their gf on stage.

I would go again. And after the show I’ve been listening to them more regularly. It’s good work music too. Thanks for stopping by.

Saw Coheed and I've been a fan since 2001 so, figured I'd pop in and listen to what you have to say. First, yeah Claudio doesn't like talking, but sometimes there's minimal banter, not so much during the album replays. You keep referring to it as a "metal" show and I'm wondering if that's the disconnect from the energy you're missing, because I've not heard too many people call Coheed metal, maybe prog rock, hard rock, and such but not really too many calls to metal. Anyway I saw them do all of In Keeping Secrets I think in 2013 in Colorado, and it was pretty chill. Saw them three times in Vegas, also pretty chill vibe. That's all I can say about that.
I'm 46 and at my last Coheed show I took a chair when I could get one, because I have issues with my spine and legs and such, and I'd say try to get over the pride because not acknowledging that you need the chair at 40, makes 46 a hell of a lot worse for you. It's not good to just ignore pain. for you though I hope things get better!
