Yesterday a pupil came with this charming little piece by Giuliani. At first I didn’t get it and thought that the time signature was wrong, or the notes played incorrectly in the measures, and the slurs weren’t placed correctly. So I looked up the original edition and made my own edition. And now I do get it: it’s just a charming little piece with a bit odd quirks.
Here played on a Fabricatore copy by Gary Southwell.

Is the picture stretched or is the guitar body really that long and thin? Ive never seen a guitar body shape like that before, is it a parlour guitar? would you mind telling me the name of the model please

It's a very early 19th century model - mine is a copy from an 1811 model I believe - by an Italian maker called Fabricatore. It's not distorted, so what you see in the video is what it is in real life (apart from the fact that I'm a lefty and I have mirrored the video).
