REVIEW: MHP Magpie (3D-Printed Flywheeler Nerf Revolver)

- My Buddy Brett (who sometimes wears a beret) purchased an interesting blaster recently, and he let me borrow it for review. The MHP Magpie is a micro flywheeler revolver. This one is configured for short darts, and it has interchangeable cylinders for quick reloading. This is a really unique blaster in a such a classic form-factor; let's check it out!

Just thought I'd say, the grip is actually stained as well as sanded. As you say it is a lot of extra work to make those come out really nice, as well as the filament being very hard on nozzles.
As for a manufacturing run, I just don't have the means to make them on a large scale, so I'm happy to license out to others to make and sell them.

OUT OF DARTS brings such a positive warmth along with the technical astuteness and honesty - i host a game play and fitness group and have started designing dart battle games for fun and stress release - just bought my second PERSES mod and everyone loves getting their turn w/ it !! just know that this culture is bringing good things to this world through encouraging play and real human interaction -and your friend was part of that- may he rest in peace :))

Big part of a review is how well the weapon functions, can hardly call it one without that critical aspect.

You are indeed right, it is quite a build. MHP has licensed us to produce them and we’ve actually done a handful of design changes to make it even more reliable. Definitely one of my favorite “style points” blaster. frontlinefoam.com/product-category/mhp-arms/magpie/

Wow I was just curious to see a few reviews on a cool blaster that caught my eye and being that it goes without saying LUKE knows his stuff and is top level respected personality in the community... You can always tell when he's TRUELY intrigued by a blaster cause he's like a 10-12 yr old kid excited so I deff consider him a high Informed entertainer, anyhow I could tell this death he had just suffered was tramatic for him as he clearly was fighting to not lose it when speaking about it and throughout the video it was just deff obvious he wasn't all there, really just the first time I've scene him so off....

I wish there was a left handed version of this. (Cylinder drops out the right to reload) I'd actually consider buying one if it was available in left handed. Thing looks cool AF. And knowing whether or not fanning the hammer works would be nice.

Mine broke, the trigger gets jammed a lot and doesn’t have good rotation in the cylinder. And he will have my prayers
You tend to twist your elbow to absorb the impact. That’s more of a revolver technique. Maybe you’re not cut out for an automatic. But that was some fancy shooting, you’re pretty good.
