My sister worked at Hallmark after school during her high school years and that job started our Hallmark Ornament obsession. We have been collecting for over 30-years and used to be first in line for the after Christmas sale, scouting out the best local store Christmas Eve. We now live in two different states with our own families but call each other the morning of Dec. 26 to see what we were able to buy at the online sale 😊 My collection is filled with Star Wars, Snow Buddies and Disney while my sister’s tree is Harry Potter and those larger musical movement ornaments Kitra likes. My nephew is a Spider-Man fan and I know he would love one from his favorite aunt 😉

Our main pop culture ornament is a big Chewie that sits in the center of the tree every year. Can't have a Christmas tree without a star wars ornament...it wouldn't be right!!
Tip: If you're ever in NYC...go to Jay's Hallmark store in the Port Authority Bus Terminal. BEST Hallmark store you'll ever step foot in. Best thing about that terminal. They sell not just ornaments and cards but also Department 56 village stuff as well as British chocolate and model planes.

One of my favorite pop cultures ornaments that we have is our two singing Moanas. We let our daughters pick out an ornament every year when we visit Disney World in the fall. A few years ago, my older daughter picked out a Moana ornament that sings and my younger daughter picked a non-singing Aurora (I think). As Christmas, approached my younger daughter said that she wished she also got a singing ornament. She seemed disappointed but still content with her choice. Well, the next year when we went to Disney Springs to look at ornaments, she was SO excited that they had the exact same singing Moana ornament that her sister had picked out the year before. So now, we have two singing Moanas on our tree each year. 😆
Okay I’m going to the Hallmark store this weekend. This just got be really excited for decorating this year! I actually got an Eeyore hallmark last year. A fave of mine and always makes me smile.

So glad you guys did this again this year, so many cool choices. We too have a nerd tree in our home. We me being on a fixed income, we usually only get one or two new ones a year. I think my favorite in our collection is the one that started it all, it's the Anakin & Obi Wan light sabre battle. It lights up and has the saber sounds and Obi Wan yelling at Anakin that he was supposed to be the "chosen one"... It's really neat. There is a video of our tree on our channel. Been waiting to see this video. I have also been watching all your older videos to catch up to current. I did buy that silver falcon. It is so heavy, looks perfect on one of those ornament stands and sits in my living room. Everyone comments about it. I picked up quite a few ornaments as well, that pumpkin with the cat at the end. Had to get that for Halloween since I was picking up more than 3 cards. My husband said he wished the cat stayed hidden in the pumpkin and popped up once you clicked it to start. Don't forget, they will have a few more new ornaments in October. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
Hi Kitra and Peter!! My husband and I started watching you guys several months ago. Absolutely love your videos. We are also from Massachusetts. We live on Martha’s Vineyard. If you haven’t heard of the Vineyard, it’s an Island off the Cape. The only way to come here is by boat or plane. I’ve collected hallmark ornaments back on the 90’s when I was in high school. Back then- only 1 (if that) Star Wars ornament would come out yearly. That being said, I order online anything I may want just in case by the time I can get to the main land, I won’t miss out. This year I saw the Marvel mystery ornaments and added 2 to my order. These are normally not shipped. I put my fate in the shipping persons hands to hook me up! I did score Black Panther and Ironman- I was hoping for Cap but happy with my two. I would love to be chosen for one of you extra Spider-Man. My husband laughed as I watched your video hoping you would get two Capt’s. You guys bring us so many laughs and so much positive energy to our days. As soon as I saw that this video was for the new Christmas ornaments at Hallmark, I immediately turned off the vlog got into my car and drove to Hallmark to look and buy some new ornaments myself. It blows my mind how much better these are than the "official" disney ornaments. Every time I see some in a Disney store or Disneyland I'm pretty disappointed in them.

My christmas tree is kinda a mixed bag, but my favorite pop culture ornament has to be one that my wife got me last year, The Three Caballeros. It is my all time favorite Disney cartoon and I had always wanted an ornament of Donald, Jose and Panchito and she made that dream come true!

I didn't finish the video before watching this so you probably said it but the cool thing is you just get to bring these things home and pop them right on your tree, the rest of us who took our trees down many months ago have to wait until November or December whenever our Christmas trees go back up
It is cool both ways, the way I see it, is I put the ornaments away until Xmas time, kind of forget about them, then when we come to decorate our tree it’s like Christmas to open up and see the new ornaments we get to put up and enjoy😊

My favourite pop culture ornament in my collection is BB-8 by Hallmark. He is so cute and I love that I can press his button and he makes his adorable noises! Pulling him out of the Christmas storage box brings the most joy and always gets centre stage on my Christmas tree!
One of our favorite ornaments on our tree is the I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas one. Our son loves to make it sing. We even have the book and an inflatable for our yard and are known as the house with the hippo for Christmas. By the way our son love Spider-Man and can’t wait to go to Disneyland in November!

I'm so happy that y'all did another Christmas Ornaments in July video. It's because of y'alls first Christmas ornament tree video that got me into collecting ornaments for my tree, I love Harry Potter and had to start getting the building series and now have a collection of my own to put on my year round tree. Thank you so much for introducing me to all the awesome ornaments in that initial video and I can't complement y'all enough on how great the editing and videos are.
You both are great. I’ve been collecting Hallmark ornaments since the very late 80’s which is why we have 3 trees. Lots of Disney on the main tree. A second tree with nature and transportation (not sure why that mix but it works) and finally the best tree of all “Man’s best friend”….all dog ornaments. My 12 year old dog 🐶 has cancer though. He probably won’t see another Christmas, but we will have his favorite bed by the tree regardless. Here’s to pets of all kind that make our life whole!
My ornament collection is mostly my grandma and aunt Rachel's antique stuff and also things they made or we made as a kid. I did get a small collection of nightmare before Christmas for my daughter's 18th birthday party along with two black glitter trees. I still have one tree up all year long with the nightmare ornaments and my crystal broom!

My favorite pop culture ornament is one my friend made for me. It's a large glass ball with a bunch of qot s from Princess Bride written all over the glass.
My favorite pop culture ornament has to be this tiny Star Wars Phantom Menace movie poster ornament. It's got a picture of Qui Gon Jinn on it, and that's what our dog was named. He passed away right before Christmas, and it just feels like a way for him to be a part of decorating the tree and celebrating Christmas again.
My favorite pop culture ornament in my collection has to be the R2-MK which is the red and black colored R2 unit with Mickey ears. I got the ornament as a gift from my parents at Disneyland. As someone who’s a huge Disney Parks fan and a Star Wars fan, that ornament represents me perfectly so I absolutely love having it on my Star Wars tree every year ✨
I told myself that I will not be buying anymore Christmas ornaments, but I saw this post and now I may have to change my mind to pick some up. As for the contest of the Spider-Man ornaments, one of my favorite pop culture icons especially around Christmas is “Snoopy.” On a side note, good luck on getting a Loki mystery ornament.

Christmas Vacation was a staple during the holidays growing up for my family, we watch it like 4 times in a month and then once more after we opened up the gifts.

I love the Hallmark ornament release weekends! I picked up my ornaments a couple of weeks ago. I think my favorite Hallmark Keepsake ornament is actually one my mom gave me many years ago. I had Lone Ranger and Silver action figures when I was a little girl. (They were larger than standard action figures, but you get the point.) I would watch the Lone Ranger everyday. I even faked sick so I could stay home from kindergarten to watch it. (I got dragged to the doctor, so I never did that again!) Anyway, Hallmark had a Lone Ranger/Silver ornament one year that looked exactly like my toys. My mom got it for me when I was in my late twenties/early thirties. I treasure that ornament as well as my toy Lone Ranger and Silver. Thanks for bringing back that memory for me! (No need to enter me in the contest as I, too, already have Spiderman!)
My family has a tradition that every year my brothers and I get 1 hallmark ornament each, when we were kids my mom used to pick them out and surprise us but now as we're older we get more of a say. This year I'm getting the Harry Potter with the Sorcerer's Stone that comes out in October. One of my brother's got the Super Nintendo and my other brother got Donkey Kong. I think my favorite one in my collection is The Hogwarts Castle from a few years ago. Has a light inserter (so it glows all the time) and a button that plays Hedwig's Theme. Great video as usual!

I’ve already ordered and received the sorting hat and the Mickey radio. I have to say that the sorting hat is the coolest and most well-made ornament that I’ve bought in a long time. I love it!
I bought the Storyteller ornament when it was first available. I dont usually get ornaments from the Hallmark store but I had to have it. I usually get my Disney ornaments from the parks directly. "Kidnap the Sandy Claws lock him in a box...." And, of course, Kitra hits my FAVORITE fun Christmas song (hippo for Christmas). You should look for a version by Lake Street Dive. Its very fun. I think I need the Sorting Hat, though. That was COOL!
I love you! You leave up your tree all year!? I want to do that. The longest I've been able to leave it is 4 months. Disneyland, Hallmark, and Christmas all year, you ARE living the dream! Dang these ornaments are awesome and friggin expensive.

I am all over that Castle Grayskull ornament but the fav that I already have are the mini controllers I got from thinkgeek years ago. Has an Atari joystick, Genesis, NES and an original pre duel shock PS controllers. Love them.
I love space ships and vehicles. My favorites were those miniature ST spaceships that I used to hang out on the very tips of my full sized, tree, so they seemed to be out in space, but the Klingon K'tinga escaped one year and I never found it again! I have a TV Batmobile, and a Toothless, among other, more mundane goodies. I'd love a Loki too. I'll have to find a Hallmark and try my luck!

I thought the ornaments around it were going to speak lines from the film, rather than trigger the Death Star. My favourite pop culture ornament in my collection is BB-8 by Hallmark. He is so cute and I love that I can press his button and he makes his adorable noises! Pulling him out of the Christmas storage box brings the most joy and always gets centre stage on my Christmas tree!

One of our favorite ornaments on our tree is the I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas one. Our son loves to make it sing. We even have the book and an inflatable for our yard and are known as the house with the hippo for Christmas. By the way our son love Spider-Man and can’t wait to go to Disneyland in November!

This made my day, getting home from work and seeing this posted! Literally first thing I watched and immediately thumbs upped the video because I knew it was gonna be great! I'm so happy that y'all did another Christmas Ornaments in July video. It's because of y'alls first Christmas ornament tree video that got me into collecting ornaments for my tree, I love Harry Potter and had to start getting the building series and now have a collection of my own to put on my year round tree. Thank you so much for introducing me to all the awesome ornaments in that initial video and I can't complement y'all enough on how great the editing and videos are.

You both are great. I’ve been collecting Hallmark ornaments since the very late 80’s which is why we have 3 trees. Lots of Disney on the main tree. A second tree with nature and transportation (not sure why that mix but it works) and finally the best tree of all “Man’s best friend”….all dog ornaments. My 12 year old dog 🐶 has cancer though. He probably won’t see another Christmas, but we will have his favorite bed by the tree regardless. Here’s to pets of all kind that make our life whole!

My ornament collection is mostly my grandma and aunt Rachel's antique stuff and also things they made or we made as a kid. I did get a small collection of nightmare before Christmas for my daughter's 18th birthday party along with two black glitter trees. I still have one tree up all year long with the nightmare ornaments and my crystal broom!

My favorite pop culture ornament has to be this tiny Star Wars Phantom Menace movie poster ornament. It's got a picture of Qui Gon Jinn on it, and that's what our dog was named. He passed away right before Christmas, and it just feels like a way for him to be a part of decorating the tree and celebrating Christmas again.
My favorite pop culture ornament in my collection has to be the R2-MK which is the red and black colored R2 unit with Mickey ears. I got the ornament as a gift from my parents at Disneyland. As someone who’s a huge Disney Parks fan and a Star Wars fan, that ornament represents me perfectly so I absolutely love having it on my Star Wars tree every year ✨
I told myself that I will not be buying anymore Christmas ornaments, but I saw this post and now I may have to change my mind to pick some up. As for the contest of the Spider-Man ornaments, one of my favorite pop culture icons especially around Christmas is “Snoopy.” On a side note, good luck on getting a Loki mystery ornament.

I love the Hallmark ornament release weekends! I picked up my ornaments a couple of weeks ago. I think my favorite Hallmark Keepsake ornament is actually one my mom gave me many years ago. I had Lone Ranger and Silver action figures when I was a little girl. (They were larger than standard action figures, but you get the point.) I would watch the Lone Ranger everyday. I even faked sick so I could stay home from kindergarten to watch it. (I got dragged to the doctor, so I never did that again!) Anyway, Hallmark had a Lone Ranger/Silver ornament one year that looked exactly like my toys. My mom got it for me when I was in my late twenties/early thirties. I treasure that ornament as well as my toy Lone Ranger and Silver. Thanks for bringing back that memory for me! (No need to enter me in the contest as I, too, already have Spiderman!)

I really love my Frosty the Snowman ornament because it's thematic to the season and pop culture at the same time.
My family has a tradition that every year my brothers and I get 1 hallmark ornament each, when we were kids my mom used to pick them out and surprise us but now as we're older we get more of a say. This year I'm getting the Harry Potter with the Sorcerer's Stone that comes out in October. One of my brother's got the Super Nintendo and my other brother got Donkey Kong. I think my favorite one in my collection is The Hogwarts Castle from a few years ago. Has a light inserter (so it glows all the time) and a button that plays Hedwig's Theme. Great video as usual!

I bought the Storyteller ornament when it was first available. I dont usually get ornaments from the Hallmark store but I had to have it. I usually get my Disney ornaments from the parks directly. "Kidnap the Sandy Claws lock him in a box...." And, of course, Kitra hits my FAVORITE fun Christmas song (hippo for Christmas). You should look for a version by Lake Street Dive. Its very fun. I think I need the Sorting Hat, though. That was COOL!

I am all over that Castle Grayskull ornament but the fav that I already have are the mini controllers I got from thinkgeek years ago. Has an Atari joystick, Genesis, NES and an original pre duel shock PS controllers. Love them.

I love space ships and vehicles. My favorites were those miniature ST spaceships that I used to hang out on the very tips of my full sized, tree, so they seemed to be out in space, but the Klingon K'tinga escaped one year and I never found it again! I have a TV Batmobile, and a Toothless, among other, more mundane goodies. I'd love a Loki too. I'll have to find a Hallmark and try my luck!

Those ornaments were pretty cool. I agree, I liked that Death Star one, it's pretty awesome. I thought the ornaments around it were going to speak lines from the film, rather than trigger the Death Star. I think it should have been a line from that character, along with a selection of music related to said character. Also, I thought you were gonna end up with 5 more spideys! 😆
