Oh there's a lot of violence in country music. Go back to old school country. Johnny Cash sang, I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die. Loretta Lynn has a song called, Fist city. Check out Carrie Underwood, The Chicks just to get started.
Hahaha... yeah Jason is spitting bars. If you enjoy country music storytelling check this one out "Blake Shelton - Ol' Red (Official Music Video)" like your reaction...look forward to hearing what you think 🤔 Thanks
Definitely has to be the video for the best reaction I think. Although I love when country pulls out a good lyrical music motif. Ol’ Red isn’t as obvious with the motif as much as songs like, Don’t Take The Girl, The Good Stuff or There goes my life, but the line “Ol’ Red’s itching to have a little fun” is definitely a line that changes meaning throughout.
Get real.. violent??? Havent you had tussles with the group you hung out with if they started bad mouthing.. thats not violent, thats getting them set right.
Jason isn't violent.. but gotta say in the country things will be settle with a fist fight.. no guns or knives. we save that for hunting. lol .. most the time. Country boys just do it different because you might be fighting with your cousin.. Don't want to kill him.. just let him know you're pissed off with em.. lol. Throw some punches.. get over it.. all good.. Nobody's dead.
You should definitely listen to the the original version by who wrote the song Brantley Gilbert I think Brantley’s is much better. Jason bought it from Brantley I love Jason & all his music

You can call it violence, but back in the day men were tougher than today and if you said something wrong they didn’t cry, they just handled it
The older you get the more you look in the rear view mirror
