it's nice to see your wife taking a interest in being a cockpit resource. I'm slowly trying to get my wife more active in helping . Especially in IFR conditions, It's so helpful to have someone lock in frequencies and keep an eye on the secondary instruments in the scan .
Glad to see you're back and the whole family is back in the plane! See you have a new member flying with you too! Missed your travels and really looked forward to seeing you again in the cockpit! You mentioned your gas syphoning issues and I learned years ago flying a P-210 and T-210 to leave the tanks at the lowest levels (1st bar in the tanks) so I could, if needed, take 6 people or additional baggage. Makes it a lot easier than syphoning fuel. LOL Nice to see you back in the skies! Thanks again for providing your very interesting flights!
New to your channel... I’ve watched and do watch many other aviation channels. Your presentation on flying is #1! You show and tell about the aspects of flight that are key to people with interest in flying. Little bit of lifestyle to make a connection but staying focused on the mission keeps me watching. Awesome use of video tools that delivers the shot that makes sense when needed. Please keep ‘em coming. Big fan!
Soooo glad to see you all again! The whole family is getting younger, whats your secret? Thanks for making these videos for us, can't wait to see more.
Thank you. We had to scrub that plan initially due to weather but in retrospect, we would have been there when Covid appeared and that could have been a mess. May God also bless you and your family.
I see that you have been to Gladewater recently. I have friends with airplanes on that field and I go by there often. I always check the skies and the radio for you while there. Maybe one of these days ...
Welcome Back !! Been looking and waiting only because if I bought a new to me plane it would be a Malibu in your year range Still out of my reach so the Mooney will have to do
It's been a while since the last one, I wonder what has happened to your channel, I watched all your videos and now it shows as If I hadn't watched any... But it's good to see you are back, I really enjoy your channel. Side note: Do you know UA-cam might deliver less this video just because you have Corona in the title and/or mentioned it in the video? It's a shame!
Always love flying long with you. Since you fly a Malibu, and you fly a lot, may I ask: what is your day job? Thanks, Chuck (73-years-old'ish) in NE Florida. : +)
Enjoy your videos. Not sure why you took your sun visors out of the aircraft, but they work pretty well. Also, I have the JetShades for my Malibu and they are well worth the price! Huge difference in interior temperatures as well as significantly cutting the glare. They have the side windows as well as ones for the front windscreen. Just something to consider.
Noobie here. Tell me about the Rest Room apparatus your wife asked you about. Does it come with the aircraft or did you purchase it? Just a link would suffice. Liked your video. Looking forward to that kind of family travel here.
It's called a "relief tube" and is essentially a funnel connected to a tube that terminates on the belly of the aircraft. It's a factory feature but often goes unused because most people don't want to contaminate the bottom of their plane.
Love the video and would like to chat with you about your experiences with the Malibu. I currently own a 2020 Cirrus SR22T and have been considering the M350 for the pressurization and extra room. Would like to get your thoughts on your plane. Thanks
Welcome back! A question. What advantage was there in waiting until airborne before picking up your IFR clearance leaving Falcon? I understand why there might be an advantage in departing VFR when below a Bravo shelf, but in those situations, I'd expect the request to pick up the clearance to come much later., not immediately after departure.
Hi Mark. You're exactly right. KFFZ sits right under the eastern edge of the Phoenix class B shelf. The SID calls for a departure to the south where they climb you before turning you east on course so in VFR conditions, it's much easier to pick it up in the air. The reason for getting it right after departure is to get the climb through the bravo but, the key is to advise that you can maintain your own terrain/obstruction clearance through 10,000 feet as there are many mountains to the east.
In May 2020 fuel at Graham was the cheapest in the country at $2.20/g And stayed that price for a few months. I did many flights to Graham during that time.
Not trying to sharpshoot you, but you cancelled IFR, and afterwards at 14:36 it appears you are IMC. Just curious to know if this is a B-roll shot edited into the video. ADDITIONAL INFO: Never mind. I think I figured it out. Nothing more than the angle of the camera. I've seen enough of your videos to know you fly very conservatively and would not be skirting the rules. Love your videos, and thanks for taking the time to record, edit, and post them.
Hi John. You certainly got my attention. I went back to check and you're right, I had the camera angled to expose the panel properly and as a result, the outside was over-exposed. Good catch!
I see you've been in Springdale, AR (KASG) a lot recently, any reason for that other than it's pretty much in the middle of the country? I live in the area, and if you get a chance, you should land at Bentonville, KVBT, they have a really nice restaurant on the field, plus a lot of other nice amenities right on the field.
Hi Aaron. We just moved to the area last January so I'm based out of KASG now. I'll have to check out the restaurant at VBT. Thanks for the suggestion.
Great video! At 5:27 looking out the left wing, is it just me or does the wing look like it has several deformities? Maybe its just the way the light is hitting it.
Wondered where you went! Glad to have you back in the skies and the Tubes!

Agreed. I've also realized that the more I engage her, the more it all starts to make sense and therefore, the less she worries...
Cool that your wife is into learning about the process!
Haven't caught a lot of your videos but I caught this one enjoyed coming along with your family happy contrails
I spent a few months in Graham. My grandfather was the original owner of a little BBQ restaurant there called Sonny’s. Neat little town.
Welcome back! You've been missed!
So glad to have you back. I really missed you, your plane and your family.

Welcome back stranger!
Soooo glad to see you all again! The whole family is getting younger, whats your secret? Thanks for making these videos for us, can't wait to see more.
With 6 people in the seats, what is your expected max range? Obviously many factors at play, just curious
Man I love that plane
Wow... was running out of PA46 flights to 'simulate'!...Welcome back! :)
Glad to see you back, I liked the video before I watched!
Great to see another video, keep em coming!
Glad to see you back
"standby one"...you were in someone else's airspace and they needed to get control. Nice to see you back.
Clean shaven...looking good
Wow, has that been half a year? Have been missing you guys- Glad to see you back ! 👋🏻
Man! I thought you were on that long awaited world tour video with aviation 101! 😂😂Good to see you again flying. God bless
Thank you. We had to scrub that plan initially due to weather but in retrospect, we would have been there when Covid appeared and that could have been a mess. May God also bless you and your family.

Still searching for that elusive PA-46 - 520/550 Glad you are well and still flying.
Welcome Back !! Been looking and waiting only because if I bought a new to me plane it would be a Malibu in your year range Still out of my reach so the Mooney will have to do
Welcome back!
Nice video!
How long is the runway at Graham?
Welcome back.
I am curious how you siphon gas from the plane. What do use? Where do put the fuel? Are you able to use the fuel later?
It's been a while since the last one, I wonder what has happened to your channel, I watched all your videos and now it shows as If I hadn't watched any... Always love flying long with you. Since you fly a Malibu, and you fly a lot, may I ask: what is your day job?
Thanks, Chuck (73-years-old'ish) in NE Florida. : +)
Thank you Chuck. I retired last October from a career in hi-tech. My day job now is keeping my grass mowed :)
Thank you. I've heard great things about the JetShades and will look into them.
Nice video
I am getting my PPL right now out of Falcon. Let me know if you ever need a co-pilot to keep you company...

Did you remember to add the dog to weight and balance 😆 I think that's why it took so long to get off the ground

Hi Craig. I'm happy to help any way I can.
18/36 at KRPH can be hard to see. The winds can be a little crazy at times.

Direct into the sun without sunglasses! Ouch!
Graham Texas. My birthplace. Also home to the yearly Great Ornithological Symposium held at Ft. Belknap. A dove hunt . . .
"Great Ornithological Symposium" This is why I love Texas! :)
@@MalibuFlyer Yes Siree.
What....? Did you remove the sun visors to save weight?
No. I removed them because they were essentially useless.
Glad your back. How soon will we see you in the back and katey up front?
Thank you! I think she is going to stick with the Cherokee for awhile... :)
In May 2020 fuel at Graham was the cheapest in the country at $2.20/g And stayed that price for a few months. I did many flights to Graham during that time.
Drama cam thats hilarious!
Wondered where you'd gone....

Very cool. Welcome to the area, Northwest Arkansas is a fantastic place to be (I've been here 11 years now!).
Hey guys. I fly into KASG frequently from KDPA. I grew up in Springdale and still have family and friends there.
At 11:50. In flight emergencies are caused by on ground urgencies that are ignored.
"Max Gross Takeoff" works great if the density altitude does not change, then it becomes very dangerous.
Are you referring to the density altitude at our destination?
Great video! At 5:27 looking out the left wing, is it just me or does the wing look like it has several deformities? Maybe its just the way the light is hitting it.
You guys need some sun visors
long time, no see
Welcome back. I hope you have been flying, just not making videos.
Wow. Such a risk taker. Hope you stay safe. From my perspective, flying at max GW is never an option. It's a major risk factor. Safe skies.
It's certified to fly at that weight. The manufacturer has proven it is safe.
you been slacking......
LOL drama Cam
Two adults (one small) and two medium sized kids ... MGTOW ???
Ouch. on performance.
Risking the lives of inocent people dude just to be a careless ga pilot
Hi Matt. I appreciate you taking the time to comment but can you help me understand where you saw carelessness? Thank you.
What are you talking about?
What about “pumps”?
Glad you are back!
Welcome back !!!
Welcome back !
