Damn, i don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, i'm happy to see "Ai" again but then it just feels different. But i'm really glad Ruby can truly be cheerful again.

Gotanda was like Stanley Kuberick right there, using all those takes to make the actor frustrated. One infamous Kubrick examples was in The Shining where Kuberick told filming staff to bully and treat the costar Shelly Duvall like dirt and do all those takes to get her into the defeated scared role as the wife when Jack went crazy. The bat scene Kuberick did a takes over a 100 times. That's what Gotanda is trying to get Ruby to do is act with all that frustration and hidden negative emotion masked by her positivity as an idol.
Ruby is my best girl. No one can change my mind. Ruby is my favorite female character 🤩🌟🌟

I was kinda sad aqua wasn't here to see ruby act soo much like Ai tbh
I feel like I'm the only one not really blown away by Ruby. To me, the impact isn't there because we already had an "Oh crap, Ai is back from the dead" moment all the way back at the start of the manga. Moreover, unlike Akane, Ruby only has the looks. She's in over her head actually trying to act the part.
