I've always thought how does that work. As aren't a lot of pro's I.E PGA tour about this handicap? Is it click bait, or not? Interested to know genuinely. not fishing.
I’m a 8 handicap and I’ve played with guys that are +2 and +4 and what you can’t see in this video is their short game. Get up and down from pretty much everywhere
@@benr91377 The way the handicap system works, it looks at your last 20 scores and takes the average of your best 8 scores. The handicap system also uses adjusted gross score instead of gross score. Essentially this means as a scratch golfer, any triple bogeys or worse will only get recorded as double bogeys. So someone's handicap is not the same as their scoring average. For this reason, at a competitive level handicap is completely irrelevant. Someone with a scoring average of 69 is lightyears better than someone with a scoring average of 71 yet they can both have the same handicap. Example: Player 1 last 20 rounds: 69, 70, 66, 71, 67, 72, 68, 68, 65, 71, 65, 73, 65, 70, 66, 70, 69, 72, 72, 71 This player would have a handicap around +6 and a scoring avg of 69 and only 1 round over par which is incredible. This player would be a tour pro. Player 2 last 20 rounds: 66, 74, 67, 70, 68, 77, 73, 65, 75, 65, 70, 66, 73, 69, 76, 74, 68, 72, 73, 79 This player would also have a handicap of +6, but would have a scoring avg of 71 and 9 rounds over par. This player would be a fringe pro who would struggle on a competitive level because of their inconsistency. To make the cut you need to string 2 good rounds in a row, to perform well in tournaments you need to string 4 in a row. There's too much variation in players 2 scores they would struggle to make consistently make cuts and would struggle to finish very high the times they did make the cut. I can't stress just how far apart player 1 and player 2 from this example would be in skill level. Although they have the same handicap, player 1 is miles ahead of player 2. This is why you get pga tour pros and youtube golfers with very close handicaps, no one is lying about their handicap it's just that handicap is pretty irrelevant measure of how good someone is at that level. One of my favorite Tiger quotes is how pro golf isn't about how good you are at your best, but how good you are at your worst. That's where tour professionals really separate themselves, their worst is significantly better than everyone else's. Sorry if the explanation is over the top, I thought you might be interested because a lot of people don't fully understand the handicap system.
@@glenngriggs6445Great comment. I watched final round of some Tiger won championship. He missed over half the fairways and greens. But he would chip inside 3-4 feet and par every one of those.
Nothing better than watching golf balls disappear into the darkness. I love a driving range at night.
Yes sir it is so pure!
So much hate in the comments and for no reason! This dude is obviously a top-tier ball striker.

lol, thought the exact same! 😆
Hard to tell cause it’s dark but your launch angle seems low? Generating enough spin ? Your driver launch looks much lower than my 3 iron.
I do launch it low but driver is super optimum 2000 rpm and 10° launch
Hey Josh, I know Avodas are forged…any thoughts on hitting of mats affecting your lie angles?
no different to any other manufactorer! Mats are defo something you need to watch on lie angles YES!!!
The guy next to you hit a ball in to the green barrier! LOL!

@@dereksupino7625great explanation. Golf is very much a game of how ‘good’ are your bad shots.

During the lead arm drill i would hozzle the ball and destroy that several thousand dollar piece of equipment on my first attempt.
I would have at the start too haha! Practice practice practice
You need some spin tilt when you approach your driver. It will allow you to stay back and hit middle of the face.
Thanks mate I’ll send this to coach!
