Hi Bill. I'm still having a great time in "standard horology", though my collection is still mostly quartz. At first I bought a few NH35-powered watches and I enjoyed them, but I most like to see the SW200 and SW300 now, and I've been selling those early purchases. I still want a nice manual winder. I've built a couple watches based on the ST3600 and ST3620 movements (Chinese made clones of 6497 and 6498), and those are great for beginners to learn on but they've also performed surprisingly well in my experience. Very good timekeepers! I don't know to what extent they are clones of 6497-2 and 6498-2, but they do run at 3Hz and not 2.5Hz. Anyway, I'm having a blast "levelling up" my watches as well as my tools & experience in watch repair. I'll stay tuned. Your channel became one of my top favourites, Bill. 👍
Nothing wrong with Standard Horology Vonkruel. A couple of my favorite watches have ETA movements. Like you, I also like the Seagull ST3600 & ST3620 for making my own watches. Take care, Bill

I haven't sold anything except a speedmaster moonwatch that I bought used without box & papers
So how did it go Richard? Take care, Bill
Had at least 50 watches, never sold any but gave away a lot.
Russell, that's one way to cull a collection! Take care, Bill
