Can't buy the Tmax in the USA, bought the Kymco Ak 550 yesterday best alternative and less cost by far, excellent ride
there are actually some dealers importing it... i saw one in FLorida, but they wanted 25k... hell nah... more than double the price of the kymco... Kymco ak550 2023 has a new premium version available outside US with special features like electric windscreen, special ABS for cornering and few other things more...
@@tchecholino I own a AK550 Premium in Australia. Love the beast. Awesome purchase and $5000 OZ cheaper on road than the Yamaha T Max in Australia. Both available here but not the new Honda 750 maxi scooter.

Βλέπω τα βιντεάκια σου από καιρό και πραγματικά ο τρόπος που μπαίνεις στις στροφές είναι το κάτι άλλο υπάρχει κάποιο κόλπο ώστε ο μπροστινός τροχός στην είσοδο να είναι πιο σταθερός γιατί έχω προσπαθήσει αρκετά με το Beverly 300 αλλά δεν, μου τρεμοπαίζει πολύ και η πληροφορία που παίρνω απ τον μπροστινό τροχό πάντα με κάνει επιφυλακτικό ....πάντα όρθιος και αν μπορείς θα ήθελα κάνα δυο συμβουλές

Wow for the first time on a track and doing the same time as an experimented Tmax tracker !!! What if... you was experimented and have some mods for better track time!
You know he is the guy that commentate at motogp broadcast in Greece, he also does laps with the BMW rr1000,so he has lots a experience. It was my first time.
Buddy, you can enter the curve with constant acceleration, using the rear brake to swing the bike, then the body to complete, so you do not need to reduce too much in the curve, give even more pleasure in riding, it is a technique that needs training.
I don't think this can happen for 3 reasons,1st it has abs,second I think this style it's for super motard type of bikes and third it needs alot of practise to do this and it was my first experience on a track!
Biketrips I understand, but you will not do braking with the impetus of stopping, yes the pendulum, allied to the counter, only retouch the brake for it to lie down, make a test when you can, you will realize this, slight squeeze, but you have to train , the ABS does not trigger due to the tightness of the grip, the tightness of the grip determines the degree of inclination. it's very good.

I am familiar with this technique while many of my biker friends don't seem to use it. It works very well on scooters, maybe because of the the CV transmission.

I think it's more than 3 sec, but they have much more horse power. My corner speed is good even better than some, but on acceleration they have me big time.

For sure ! And it was my first time ever doing track day. But almost all said that I did very good.
Factory tires on my old Kymco xciting 250RI were horrible. I switched to Michelins, big difference.
On ak550 stock tyres are good

Kymco would have been smart to make the engine a 850 but not sure if that would mess with the size or design of the bike. Still considering getting one. How good does it accelerate and I presume top speed is the advertised 115 around?
There is no need for a bigger engine! The bike is total badass, a beast as it is....it is not a racing bike....how funny people want to get more speed and power to go from one red light to the next on the way to Walmart! LMAO
It’s nice to know you’d only use it to go to Walmart. I would probably be on the freeway a good portion of the time with it.

I just want your honest opinion guys. I can't decide which one to buy.. Im planning to buy one but i need opinion to those who owns one of these bikes.
My opinion is, both are great scooters, test drive them both to see which one suits you more. For sure kymco has great driving experience with 50-50 weight distribution, cornering is just amazing.
Buy t-max and you will be sattisfied. Nothing can compare with t-max. Especialy third generation, that is my opinnion and belive me i drive motors and scooters more than 20 years and there is no better scooter.

If you will try the Tmax and do bankings, the bottom scraps on the road, unlike the AK it has a nice height, it does not scrape the road, that is one of the advantages of AK550.
i think the double stand scrapes first on T-MAX

Μέσα στην πίστα έχει κομματάκια από ελαστικά κλπ, όταν ζεσταίνονται τα λάστιχα γίνεται σαν βεντουζα και όλα αυτά κολλάνε πάνω για λίγο
