Awesome work Brady! Pretty neat you guys were able to stumble upon this truck and find a driver who was cool with filming. Personally I don’t love the new carts (I’d prefer if it stayed WMX haha) but they do look nice and fresh Forsure. Especially the TriCED Toters. Nice to see a full length, well filmed video of one of their WXLLs - great work!
HOLY CRAP NEW BINS ON AN OLD TRUCK?!?! DAMN no words... other that impressive catch! you managed to film a spare AND the spare on new carts. And glad you could get some carts too! One of the luckiest filming days in 2023 lol. When it comes to MSL's, WMAC employees know their stuff. That's the lime green cascade you guys got on the 27th right?
Wow. Such amazing footage. Wish I could have been there too. Great angles. And wow! A WMX burgundy 35! That’s something you won’t see ever again getting serviced. I see you took it. Can I have it? Wait no. Just give it to me cuz I’m greedy and want everything.
@@westernamericantrashtrucks yes you are correct, they are thankfully complaint fully with SB1383. Leaving it up to WM to decide to make it uniform or not. They said screw it to rolling everything out unlike what San Leandro did. The yard these trucks are out of gas just recently purchased 12 brand new Ford Lightning work trucks so I’m assuming their year expenditure budget isn’t all there for buying a ton of new bins on top of what is mandated.
@@westsacramentowastetrucks san leandro's rollout was actually oro loma's work - screw them i'd say hayward is one of the coolest contracts around still, given they have "cart variaty" and they run different types of trucks (curroto and ZR)
0:10 is that your truck in the background with some old carts in it and great video! Thought ZR's ran here and your the 4th person on youtube to post these new carts but the first person to post a 24 gal dark grey toter
They had the burgundy bins rolled out, the replacement color is gray. I didn’t even plan to film this truck but it was right where we wanted to be anyways so it was a no brainer!
Thanks, quick question. Can you see the video in 1080p on your side? I’m seemingly having technical difficulties but and since you’re an early viewer I’d like to ask.

@KennysTrucks Well you could technically get any cart you want serviced you just gotta take it to work and dump it yourself lol
Atleast there’s still a bit of history from keeping the green bins around, knowing wm I would’ve thought they would give new green bins to
Definitely! I’m very glad there’s still lime green WMX bins found very prevalently through the city. It’s a nice sight to see!
I believe it is due to SB 1383, the green carts didn’t get replaced due to them being compliant with SB1383

believe i also saw this MSL in ashland california too on special routes
i think this area might be curroto, not sure though. some areas have currotos for trash while others have ZR
@@WMAC_Master so the one I saw in 2019 might have been a Hayward truck?

god damn it. i want one of those lime green wmx cascades so badly 🤣
