- Not the typical San Juan views on this hike - but, most any mountain hike is good enough for me. It's a slideshow, so if you don't like that sort of thing that's ok.

Thank you for sharing all this beauty, Bob. Very beautiful. Beautiful shots!
Wish you a pleasant week.
Best regards, Knut.
Thank you Knut very much. You have a great rest of your week too!
Look's like a nice trail, Bob. It's no wonder that many people are using it. The flowers are really spectacular as well as the butterflies and even a horse's rump ha ha. Thank you for sharing. I really liked coming along.
Joan
Thanks Joan - I'm glad you enjoyed it. The biting flies enjoyed being there too! Yuuukkk
Beautiful hike and flowers. Love the nature sounds. ❤ July 17th is my birthday! We spent it in Yellowstone National Park. Had a great time! Thanks for sharing all these lovely photos. 😊
Well happy belated birthday. That's a dandy birthday present spending it in Yellowstone. And I know that you guys got out in the bush away from most of the people....which made it even better I'm sure. Thanks for coming by.
Great slide presentation. There is so much beauty to look at. That must be open range cattle country, judging by the fences and big meadows. Sure is nice up there!
Thanks Kevin. Yes, there are lots of cattle up there in the summer on the grazing allotments. Thanks a bunch for stopping by.
Looked like you had a great day in the mountains San Juan. Were the flies or skeeters bad? I've been told they are really bad up where I usually ride. Thanks for sharing the hike with us. 👍👍
@@GunnyE9 It was good but pretty hot by the time I was done. On that day the biting flies were terrible. Bug dope would keep them from biting but they’d still land on me. I had to keep almost wet with that stuff to keep from being eaten alive. A week later and they weren’t bad at all but the skeeters were then the enemy. Summer in the mountains. Thanks buddy and try to stay cool. 🥵
@@SanJuanMountainBob ... I hate to say it, but I've been avoiding the mountains becasue of the bugs. Can't wait for cooler weather ... Dang ... I must be getting soft or old ....... or both!! 😅🤣😅🤣
