From your collection I'm really feeling the soul eater collectors edition and and the promised Neverland :) Right now I'm actively collecting Fruits Basket collectors edition, Mobile Suit Gundam The origin, and more Junji ito manga. And I've got 20th century boys and goodnight punpun currently (I think for big series like fairy tail and Naruto I might just go digital I'll never have the shelf space for them 😔)
Yea I have all 6 perfect dictions of Soul Eater, they’re such nice books, love those yellow spines. And yea I’ve started to collect Fairy Tail, I have the first 11 volumes & now I can get the rest of the series in box sets. I haven’t started reading Jujutsu Kaisen yet but I’m just missing vol 4, it’s been out of stock for months.
When you said the commitment to a series I know all too well what you mean. I'm actively collecting both One Piece & Case Closed. Both are well over 75 volumes and still ongoing. My standard is if you love something support it and pick it up. Now that I've got them wouldn't change it or part with them for any reason. And I actually own and greatly enjoyed my time reading Dawn of the Arcana. Never realized that The Water Dragon's Bride was done by the same mangaka being Toma Rae. Somehow I just remained oblivious to this fact but I'm glad I know it now. I'll be giving The Water Dragon's Bride an online read tonight or tomorrow. And if I like it well... my wallet is going to take another beating.

What I noticed is that everyone misses the 4th volume of JJK. That's the case for me too. I have volumes 0 through 14 with only 4 missing. It's really difficult getting my hands on it right now. I LOVE your collection btw! You and another UA-camr are the ones who made me start collecting manga and in 4 months I have a bookcase full of them! If storytelling is what you love then please check out berserk, vinlandsaga, and vagabond. I’m sure you’ve heard of these before but there amazing story’s with top notch artwork. They are pretty gruesome but there fantastic story’s

omg the cowboy bebop manga!!!! im absolutely OBSESSED with cowboy bebop ;-; i would gladly take that babey off ur hands, its so hard to find the manga here in the us for a decent price ahhhh
don't know if you are reading it already but, i can't recommend enough witch hat atelier for the story and art. its totally a unique art style and the story has a very cute and interesting plot that would interest both kids and adult readers that you just don't come across often. but i had to have the physicals for the art alone XD
I love the water dragons bride!! I thought the ending was meh though. I would totally recommend shortcake cake though or daytime shooting star! Just a couple of my other fav series. If you want something kinda spicy though, Yakuza Lover is pretty great haha
I am not sure if you have already heard of this series. I would definitely recommend checking out Hell's Paradise. This manga is created by the apprentice of chainsawman and an anime is coming out this year animated by Mappa. The storyline and art is very beautiful.

is the noragami author back from hiatus? i remember the reason i stopped noragami is cus the manga stopped and i have been gaslighted wayyyy too many times in my life by manga artists saying they are only going for a short hiatus, only to have the series be on the shelf for years and years until they decide to finish up the story or not (proof: dn angel though that one only lately got its finale thank god))
Yes they went on hiatus for a year and a half becausr of health reasons but it came back better than ever. Noragami is one of the best mangas i have ever read you will not regret picking it up especially as it seems to be building towards its ending
I unfortunately did not like the anime for Dress Up Darling. Added too much damn comedy compared to the manga and I'm not entirely fond of comedy in anime/manga in general. So I will just be sticking with the manga. Certain scenes are honestly much better in the manga anyways. Mainly when Gogu is making his monologues and the close up shots of the characters are much better and more intimate in the manga. It sucks because I really love the series lol. I just can't stand the excessive corny comedy. Oh well.

Wtf my dude firstly it's barely purple, and second I've researched a lot about hiroshima and nagasaki and never came across that a symptom i dont think it is general knowledge. Kind of rude to call art repulsive just because you don't like the skin colour kind of seems racist

Fruits basket hasn't managed to catch my interest, despite that I read it in a manga magazine that showed off a couple of shoujo series monthly. Is it a late bloomer that doesn't get good until late into the series? But if you are looking for recommendations I have a few I'd highly recommend. - D-Frag. My favorite manga of all time. Essentially it is just a comedy but every joke is so different from your regular manga keeping it fresh and funny. - Toradora. The art style for expressions is the best I've ever seen. A must for anyone who likes owning manga with captivating art. - Umineko. When they cry's second series, that does a better job of telling the story than the original game. Horror/fantasy genre but also some groundhog day feeling with repeat takes on the same days. - GTO. This is an oldie. Old gang leader takes a job at a school with a problem class but manages to help the problem kids grow and become new people. - Hayate the combat butler. Super long running series with 38 volumes, but it contains an abundance of references to otaku culture and every time you recognize one you feel like you are on the same page as the author. - Hi-score Girl. Much shorter series with an abundance of references to video games. If you loved video games and are like 30+ this is amazing. (Maybe less impressive for younger folks). - Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. One of the best reincarnated into another world series. The main character is a girl in a bear body suit, giving her unbeatable powers that she uses to help the people around her. It is super sweet. - Sweetness and Lightning. Single dad teacher with a young daughter meets a girl student and start cooking together. A large portion of this manga is just looking at the happiness beaming out of the daughter as they taste the food. I also love Your lie in April and Grenadier, but both do much better in anime.

Digital is probably a good idea. I bought the 65 or so books of Bleach and after reading them packed them away because they took too much shelf space.
