Well I had seen the final of the atp world championchips 1992 in Frankfurt/Main😃👍👍 Becker vs. Courier. He's a great champion and it's a great performance to listen to him in this interview.
People need to pump the brakes a bit on handing Alcaraz "25 Slams" or the eventual "greatest to ever play." His skill-set, talent, and potential are formidable- no question! But, people have a tendency to overreact and hand-out "Goat status" long before it's even worthy.
Players are adjusting to Alcaraz's game and being more strategic against him now and allowing him to "beat himself," which he has a tendency to do with his "go for broke" approach. How he adjusts moving forward will be interesting.
Carlitos isn't going anywhere, and will continue to get better as he matures, but players on the tour aren't just going to lay down and hand him victories. And, I think the hyperbolic fans need to chill and just let his career play-out without setting these ridiculous early historical and numerical expectations on him.
It's the big threes fault. Even Murray who actually DID beat them is overshadowed. It'll be like this for a long, long time

There are a whole army of juniors who hv been highly impacted by the B3, who are about to announce themselves on the tour over the next 3-5 years. I see them every day! Just like what Steph Curry did for professional basketball, especially outside shooting, the B3 hv done for tennis because, so many of these kids want to "be like," and it's showing in their skill-set and ability! The men's game is in a healthy situation and will be great in this next generation or two!

Ever since Alcatraz won Wimby and claimed it was (only) Novak to which he poured all his thoughts, he kept losing left to right to the rest of the top players.
He can't handle being at the top; the BIG 3, when their time came to be "That Guy", did.
Lastly, the BIG 3 had always had high IQ tennis, something Alcaraz lacks, and it's a lethal downside. He'll be fortunate to retire with 10 slams to conclude his career.

It is actually very good that Zverev had such a problem in the third set. He will surely have the same problem against Meddy and Novak, but now he is prepared. Normally he lost against Novak in the most important moments, this time he is mentally better prepared. If he "feels" his chances to beat Novak, then he can not do anything. He never had a chance to feel that against Novak.

Zverev is ULTIMATE “lets ruin this party guy” , he did it to Djokovic at Olympics, now he did it again to Alcaraz. Everything was perfectly planned for epic semifinals between BIG 4 (Djokovic, Alcaraz, Sinner, Medvedev) and then comes Zverev and ruins it completely. He is such a strange character, Zverev, I cant figure him out to this day. His playing style, behaviour on and off the court etc.. nothing makes sense when it comes to him.. its all one big confusion.. he is always somewhere floating around, lets not forget that weird US open final against Thiem, that loss makes no sense at all etc etc.. Zverev is strange.

You guys are funny. Zverev is a guy in his prime, who most probably won't relevantly improve his game anymore.
Ben Shelton is probably the 3rd best young player of the world. He still has some flaws, but at the same time, he seems to be gifted like Roddick or even Sampras/Agassi.
So the US didn't have a talent like him for quite a few years.
Djokovic and the Midgeneration like Zverev, Rublev and Medwedew will have some more good years, but Sinner, Alcaraz, Shelton and Rune will all be superior to them in a few years. Sinner and Alcaraz are close or already there and Rune and Shelton might need a year or two.
