    I just heard that Lynch made him leave the sidelines after confirming that Campbell had refused to go into the game. I love that. That’s a Coach Singletary move,,, love the passion!!!

    Suspension looks like the best option from this chair. The harshest consequences send the right message to Campbell and others like him.

    Should not be allowed in the building ever again. There was a reason the Packers got rid of him. Niners payed $5 million for a mediocre linebacker.

      Larry Kreuger pointed out on his podcast that there were warning signs earlier that something like this could happen with Campbell, but he was the Niners’ best option available at LB after their first choice went with another team, and they needed a replacement for Dre.

    • @jnagooyen9528
      @jnagooyen9528 2 години тому

      Yup. We had Kendricks on a verbal agreement before he decided to go to Dallas instead. Campbell was a last resort signing, he knew when he signed he was just a placeholder until Dre came back.

    More $$$ in a week than most of us make in a year. In their twenties. And we wonder why a lot of them turn out to be ass hats. No one should wonder why things are the way they are, given our “ priorities “ as a society. That guy will make that $$$ back by next year I’m sure. It’s all about the $$$ that he can potentially make an organization, not his supposed “character growth ”😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡.

    So the Niners can’t fine him? Are fines only given by the League Office?
    It’s just amazing to me that he was butt hurt about being dropped to Greenlaw backup. He didn’t get a salary cut, and he was gonna play the whole 2nd half bc Greenlaw was pulled at halftime. Now he’d be lucky to catch on to a CFL team least of all a XFL team. He’s literally killed his own career.

      because the question is, is he worth 60 mil per year. Me personally I say no, he's an above average QB top 15 to 10, but not Elite. Once they pay him they'll lose a lot of their core players. They'll have to keep on hitting on their draft classes which they haven't been doing great at except for this last draft class. Money will be super tight here on out once Purdy is signed. Their online and dline still trash except for a few players.

    49ers will likely punish De'Vondre Campbell and he will lose money and likely never play in the NFL again, he is still a human being , sometimes people up and quit their jobs everyday, calling him names and defaming him is not very charitable, we don't know what is going on in his life, moving on from him is the best scenario, look towards 2025!

  • @brettwheeler7753
    @brettwheeler7753 3 години тому +1

    I've seen teams go out of their way to either help a player reach incentives, or even just pay the incentives for players who got close. Teams like to reward those who go above and beyond.
    The 49ers should have contacted the NFL/police and immediately had him drug tested. Drug use will void many more parts of a contract.

    If you release him, he has an argument he achieved the playing incentives (he was on track when released); he cant do that with suspension. If made effective to the last game, the suspension is a chance to take his game money that day too. Take it all away.

    When it comes to precedence, I think Aiyuk already made a bad precedence on it by being in the Practice but NOT PRACTICING and getting rewarded for it. And Deebo, by being in the Social Media and getting rewarded. I think Campbell did this before when DeWinters were in the game and they ended up bring Campbell back and started him for a while. Now it maybe the plan anyways, but it looked like a coincidence happening right after Campbell complained. At some point, someone needs to talk to the players who talk negatively about their Team especially if it's a Captain. Mason got in trouble before and it wasn't even bad.. I think Deebo still has something to offer but his decline is so significant. Him and Aiyuk definitely brought toxicity to the Team and some media and fans. This affects the player as well and most probably affected Deebo and how his played got worse because he looked so eager to making that play and looking ahead without looking at the ball... He needs to let go of his ego, do his job and think of the team before himself and ignore all the NOISE coming from the Negative media and toxic fans. Because these fans are just Fair-weathered fans. And for the real loyal supporters, we just need to keep on supporting them. We may not agree with them but we still wish them positivity, good health, success and an SB RING. Because what happened with our Niners haven't happened to any other Team, you just cannot make those up. Tragedies, Shooting, Injuries (including Freak accidents/injuries), Drama and Bad Luck that started from SB itself and on top the Referees didn't help and their one-side schedule this season (thanks NFL!). Again, you just cannot make this all up.

    I don't think he cares about the money, how he was treated does. I think there is way more to this situation than what what know. Until Campbell's side of this situation is heard from him, we are jumping to one-sided conclusions. I'm not that way, and others should be demanding to hear from Campbell. I am making this demand to David right now.

      You realize that he knew before the game started Greenlaw was coming back, they have to list who all is available to play, Greenlaw didnt just decided to come back in the middle of the game, we knew he was coning back, its been talked about all week. If he didnt like his role, than he never shouldve agreed to wear the uniform to begin with. He was being a child throwing a tantrum and he now needs to accept the consequences of his actions. He shouldve thought about his own future & what this would say to other teams so he could go elsewhere or to even prove he deserved to be on this team.
