- Skincare like everything in your teen years can be very confusing. Hormonal changes leading to acne & hyperactive sebaceous glands are not fun to deal with but trust me if you deal with your skin right in your teen years you will thank yourself later in the future. Also dealing with ongoing acne & oily skin will become a lot easier.
When you are young your skin can heal & repair itself so quickly so your skincare needs to be very basic but knowing the right products is also very important. In this video I'm sharing my recommendations for teens (which btw adults can use too). I hope this helps and if there are any more questions please do ask ❤️

As a teen, I had the best skin with no issues whatsoever. Now, my skin won't cooperate.
My skin reacted so poorly to the Metaphil Lotion, it would become red and itchy. And just didn't work for me. I did keep using it for 3 weeks so that I'll be sure it wasn't just a coincidence.
Plus the UVeil sunscreen LITERALLY burned my skin. I'm not even joking. There were horrible red itchy patches all over my face and they didn't heal for weeks, gave me trauma. I've been using the Stiefel sunblock now and it was amazing for me except I can't find it ANYWHERE anymore.

i have been friends with wrinkles,under eye circles,hyperpigmentation,dry to sensitive to combination skin(if that makes any sense)and pimple/acne scars when i was 18
now im 20 and my skin has really changed i have dry patches and acne/acne scars and oily T zone at the same time lol no matter how much i care

@@soyaa8247 im keeping everything basic. i use a gentle cleanser,double cleanse with ponds cold cream when i wear makeup,rose water,serum,moisturize with ponds cold cream and finally sunblock.This is my routine,i tend to keep changing the products according to my skin needs but yea ponds is a holy grail for me

Bought neutrogena hydro boost cleanser on your recommendation and its amazing 😍
Nivea soft moisturizing cream contains myristyl myristate, a comedogenic ingredient that could lead to breakouts. CeraVe face wash with Hydrochloric acid is best for all skin types and I agree with you that Cetaphil is also good. Neutrogena hydrochloric acid face is good 2nd option and I've used it. I hope it helps to those struggling like me. I'm looking for a moisturizer as moisturizer don't suit my skin easily and many good moisturizer that I want to buy aren't available in Pakistan.
One more thing the Neutrogena sunscreen she mentioned causes skin cancer. It contains oxybenzene which basically cause skin cancer. I also got the same sunscreen this year in summer but I had to throw it in dust bin after knowing this. 3000 went straight to dust bin.
Neutrogena water based hyaluronic acid is good for dry and oily skin. Don't use any of their sunscreen. I did a whole research on them and red all articles. I would recommend you not to go for any of Neutrogena product other than hyaluronic acid face wash, deep cleanse face wash for oily skin and water based hyaluronic acid for combination and oily skin (buy CeraVe renewing SA cleanser or Cetaphil daily facial cleanser instead if you can) not for others please and don't easily trust anyone. Use toner after face wash. Use Thayers witch hazel rose toner or pixi glow toner. It's available on bagallery. If you can't buy these than just go for rose water. It's for balancing skin pH. Protecting skin barrier is most important thing. So don't use anything that damages it.
And yes comedogenic means it's formulated in a way that cause clogged pores so it's a BIG NO!

And to answer your question try Dermaxil hydrating body lotion (the one without spf) you can easily get it from a pharmacy.

Oh god thank you for that metafil information💜. I recently went to a dermatologist for acne and dry skin and he wrote me cetaphil for dry skin. And the pharmacy gave me metafil. So i was sooo confused. Also what would you recommend between Neutrogena and metafil? I've used both. Do you think i should stick with what the dermatologist said?
Hey! Out of the two I personally prefer the Neutrogena one but honestly I recommend both of them. If you've used both of them you can decide better which one suits your skin better & also I'm just a skincare enthusiast at the end of the day and a dermatologist knows way more (especially one that examined your skin) so would be wiser to listen to your dermatologist.

exfoliate! Lots of aha & bha options from the ordinary try those. Try the aha bha exfoliating solution from the ordinary and use it once a week at night that will probably help you with whiteheads. And yes you can use a cleanser twice a day but always use an oil free moisturizer right after it. Also make sure to remove make up properly!
My skin used to be glowy and i hardly ever had a pimple. But suddenly i started having white heads on forehead,chin, upper lips, and black pores on my nose🤷♀️. I stopped using products with oils since they clog the pores. It took 3 months to recover but now the scars r left and they r not fading at all. Also, don't use any moisturizer or sunscreen now bcz i m scared i will.get those back. What should i do? Help plz
exfoliate regularly (use AHAs & BHAs) for clogged pores and whiteheads plus the best thing you can add in your skincare routine for a multitude of skincare problems is RETINOL. I'll make a video on it soon.
You really do need a moisturizer and sunscreen but find ones that suit your skin, oil free ones because skipping on these two will have long term repercussions that will make your skin even worse.

Lots of different online pages/sites like the skin store pakistan and audour pk and even stores like Alfateh carry The Ordinary Products

I brought that metafil lotion after watching many videos but it is not a good option for oily skin. It increases the oil production. Total waste of money
Every skin reacts differently. Something in the ingredient list must not suit you. I know quite a few people with oily skin that use this & it suits their skin. If you have very oily skin do you niacinamide to regulate your oil production & salicylic acid cleansers that will help with removing excess oil. For moisturiser neutrogena hydroboost water gel is a good option. That’s great for oily skin.

You definitely should! If you come back in the evening you can just do your nighttime routine right then instead of when you're going to sleep. If not then you should still wash it after uni/work just avoid overwashing unnecessarily

Dua Shah I haven’t used that and I can’t seem to find its ingredients online but honestly cleansers/face washes don’t matter as much as moisturisers/serums etc because they are on your face for a little time & don’t get absorbed into the skin that much. If your skin doesn’t feel too tight after washing your face & if it does a good job removing make up/dirt then it’s all good. You can use any cleanser/face wash that suits you 😊

Nivea is a great basic moisturiser but it does have a couple of comedogenic ingredients so for acne prone skin I would use it with caution. That being said if it suits you then yes you can use it with this retinoid

My skin is nowadays becoming super dry and flaky, but at the same time it is very sensitive and acneprone too, so what kind of moisturizer should I use.
I highly recommend an exfoliator. After that any basic moisturiser that is fragrance free. Personal favourite is cerave moisturising lotion or first aid beauty ultra repair cream otherwise neutrogena hydroboost is also good.

Where did you buy it from? I think there are 2 kinds, one is made in the USA & the other in India so the price varies cause of that. Online pages usually sell it for around 3500.

Cerave pm lotion has niacinamide already in it and is great for oily skin but most moisturisers don’t aim to brighten. Serums with alpha arbutin or vitamin c can work effectively for skin brightening
