I agree because the head is lit
@@tombess1 Maybe. Could of been in post considering the ability to to pull out of the shadows with the sensors, add in the software available. Not sure what is allowed in the contest. Either way, beautiful photo!

Thanks, it's natural light. An early morning shot with bird emerging from shadows, with backlighting from low sun.
