I never heard of those frames but obviously they are very capable of doing those trails and most trails that I like riding. Looks amazing in Prescott! An Chris is an amazing champion, what an epic race to win, wow!
Isn’t missing link awesome?! I’ll have to show you around the Dells where so many trails are just like that section. It is indeed so much fun following Chris. He’s a great friend to have here in Preskitt.
hardtail party indeed. Looking forward to seeing your clips of the Circle Trail edited into an upload. I can’t wait to get the Helm dialed in as well as converting the Chumba Sendero to SS so I can do the whole 56 mile loop too.
It looks really good. The glare of the sun got me a few times though. I hadn't thought of that 'till I was coming down the singletrack with a glint in my eye.
Im glad you liked the trails Steve. I ride that same trail system once a week. missing link to little italy is one of the best in my opinion for sure.. Cant wait to see my Aluminum Middle child Frame. Should only be days away now. I think it will be a boulder hopping weapon like no other.
Great video, looks an amazing ride, cant wait for my new upgrades on my Commencal HT to be completed only wish we in the UK had the ladscaping that you are so lucky to have. The footage from your chest mount is amazing, if a GoPro any chance of letting on to your settings as my settings suck. Cheers.
@@hardtailpartyThanks for quick. reply Same as, 'HERO7' and used same settings but looks pixelated and hazey on upload to UA-cam. Maybe my ISO, min 100, max 1600 recommended by other MTB'r. Dont know what to do, using Sandisk Extreme v3 etc??
These bikes and trails are sweet. I love the half brushed half painted frames. Any idea how much more expensive custom geometry is? I'd need something slacker for the area I ride.
@@hardtailparty no company, I directly messaged george and asked him if i could demo the SuperB and we met up...thinking about buying one ..really fun bike
Hi! Your videos have inspired me to believe in myself and on a rigid bike, I have a pitch expert 2020. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU ... HOW CAN I IMPROVE IT TO MAKE IT A 100% HARDTRAIL
Looks like they started at the main Thumb Butte parking lot and went up Creekside. Then went across the road onto Javelina (could have gone up Garden Party and then down the West trail to Javelina which would have been my preferred route). Then down Javelina with a stop at Chris Rock part way down. From there onto Tatanka and then presumably up Zygomatic (that part wasn't shown) to the Village. Playing around in the Village and then back onto Zygomatic to Rusty Fender and then onto Missing Link. Down Missing Link to Little Italy and then back onto Javelina to climb back up to the West Trail. Take the West Trail up to the White Rock parking area and then across the street to Garden Party. Down Garden Party and Creekside back to the Thumb Butte parking lot. Lots more fun trails in that area to check out that aren't in this video.
Thanks for taking the time to map that out Scott, I really appreciate it. I know we were on missing link and little italy for a good portion of this. Another fun area I love out there is happy ending.
Looking for the popular opinion here... I'm running 27.5 x 3.0 tires on my bike currently and it's time for new rubber. I've got 38mm rims and I want to go with a more narrow tire. Am I able to run a 2.6 and still have good ground control or should I stick closer to 2.8? Also any recommendations for tires? I spend most of my time in dry dusty riding conditions. Thanks in advance!
I've had a few rides on different DVOs before, but I've never owned one. I didn't have a ton of time to get this one dialed, but it felt good on the ride. This is the XC one, and I could feel the smaller stanchions, but they were fine for this type of trail. I've got a diamond in for review right now and I'm going to be spending some time getting it dialed. It's interesting that they don't use volume spacers.
I can't remember. We didn't really go over it much they just said "hey we brought you a bike to try" and I hopped on, made a few cockpit adjustments, and away we went. I think it's probably a Hydra hub. Maybe a torch.
right when i saw prescott I thought of the granite mountain hotshots, yesterday was the 7 year anniversary of the fire. RIP

hardtail party I may just go do it in 2 parts since the challenge is just finishing it within 48hrs. Maybe tomorrow and Friday. 🤔
How did it go? I'd be happy to join you on a stretch if you want.
Great ride, those frames are nice to great for the rider looking for their next step. Awesome content as usual mate keep up the great work
I see a crankbrothers dropper remote, nice choice ! My favorite one
It worked just fine for me, no complaints here.
Thanks Steve, great bike and location, keep them coming buddy 👍🏻😎
Nicely done! I can't dance but on my hardtail on tech trails, I feel like a disco maniac.
Looks like a perfect place to ride! I miss Arizona.
Thanks for content .
The track seems like a great place and what a beautiful day.
I like the silver handlebar on the Super B. Retro in a good way!
It looks really good. The glare of the sun got me a few times though. I hadn't thought of that 'till I was coming down the singletrack with a glint in my eye.
Killed it on the missing link climb! That's a tough one, you made it look easy
I love it! So good!
Thanks for showing me around on your amazing trails. Can't wait to ride with you again.
The rock roll @ 3:05 was just BEGGING for one of you to stoppie down it.
Agreed! Maybe on my own bike, but I was still getting used to that SuperB.
That does look like an awesome ride!

Totally! I'd set one up singlespeed for those trails.
It would be awesome to see hardtail party and ride alongside do a video together. The 2 best mtb UA-cam channels
one day we'll make it happen.
It's not a trail, it's a trial. Me likey!
Happy Canada day !
Man, those beeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss
Gonna try to get the SuperB soon :D

I'll direct you straight to binary for that one. They've got some models that are a bit slacker.
Cool trails. Where are the trails in Prescott? When I am AZ, I would like to ride them.
They are all over the place, but where he is riding is by thumb butte and Emanuel pines 👍🏼
@@SWFBrickbox Thanks. I will tag those on MTB Project.
What do you think of Nobl rims? Was thinking about picking up some TR41s laced to Onyx Vesper
They're a bit stiff on a hardtail. I prefer the Knight composite wheels or my ZIPP 3zero motos
haha I rode that exact bike a few weeks back on a demo
Awesome!

it doesn't matter having only 100mm of travel and shimano mt200 brakes 😳😲🤩
Nope, it's all about the rider. :)
Was that super B setup as 27.5 or 29? Add this to list of more places I want to ride.
27.5x2.6
It was 27.5 running 2.6 Ardent Race tires.
Looks awesome!! Strava link to this route?
I don't Strava and I didn't record this roite, sorry.. we hot about 12 different trails.

Tires are super dependent on location. You'll be able to run 2.6s
@@hardtailparty thanks! I'll give em a shot.
Do you happen to know all the trail names you rode or is that one long connecting trail?
I wasn't able to keep track of them. We hot about 12 different trails. One I remember was called little italy
What handlebars are those?
Chromag. They were blinding me the entire ride.

I'm hoping you like the dvo diamond vs pike 😁 cos I'm installing 1 soon and just wondering if you want to shred around the capital of canada😉

You’re a real AZ native. You said pre-scitt not pre-Scott lol
A bell? 😄
Absolutely. Bells are super important on shared trails. Function > fashion
Lots of retired hikers in AZ. It's actually handy.
