I love powerful bikes and I have a couple over 1000cc. But going to the garage 4 times out of 5 I will subconsciously choose one of my 400cc or under bikes to ride. Just lighter, more engaging and fun on a daily basis. It is nice to get on a bigger 1 out that 5 times of cause, and they have their place. I’m probably the only one who does/thinks like this.
@@737Kamikaze that's sick! I really am thinking of getting that bike as my second bike since it's not as expensive as an r1 but still has that amazing sound and similar performance on the street

Yep it really wakes it up, top end hp increase not impressive but you get a much more fat torque and hp numbers in mid range, better throttle response and even good gas mileage due to less engine brake.
usually 500 miles is the "break-in" period for a new bike and they recommend not going over 4-5k RPMs until then. Then do the first oil change and you can beat on it as much as you want after that.
Don't let that stop you! I have to tip-toe on mine but after a few days of riding you get used to it. As long as you can get one foot down at lights, that's all you need.
Having owned a 2015 R3 for over 3 years, the word I would use to describe it is that it is so approachable. By that I mean so Non-intimidating (as in easy) to ride. I have it and a 1100cc cruiser, but find myself jumping onto the R3 more for the shorter rides on my local twisties here in Marin County. In fact I have friends who own multiple bikes and which bike do I see them riding most often? The lower displacement bike in their stable. The R3 is indeed capable and can be ridden short distances on the freeways, but it really shines on the twisties. I love my cruiser too, but it’s a bit more trouble to get in and out of the garage. It rocks on the highways but isn’t nearly as fun on winding roads.

Hey Chase, my name is Michael and I've been watching your vids for a few years now. I keep noticing the lanes position you choose to use, but I want to know if the laws are different in America than in Canada because here in Ontario, Canada basically you should keep a blocking position at all times to prevent people cutting you off so your stuck in cars blindspots. I could explain in case you dont get what I'm asking.
I prefer the smaller displacement bikes personally because of the fuel mileage and my use for a bike is to go long distances on curvy back roads. handling and off road ability are the most important aspects for me so the tenera 700 and mt 03/07 are more interesting to me but the mt 10 looks really cool and would be fun if you are only looking for speed.
Had an MT-09, torque was fun but couldn’t get over the riding position, too upright. R3 has an excellent riding position. Would love it if they made basically an R3 with an MT-07 or MT-09 engine, that would be a perfect street bike.

Aside from the power, what are the ERGO's, comfort values and handling side of things like compared to say an SV650, mt07, mt03, cb300 and other nakeds of a similar style, I just want to see aside from engine size, what you are paying for in a bigger engine bike. I think that would be good, because not only do people want to look good while riding, but they want to feel comfortable in doing so, so chase, what is the difference in money actually buying you when it comes to bigger naked bikes.

@@arkansasmotorcyclerides6090 I get 33mpg mixed (80-100 miles), 46 mpg long continuous @ 75-85 mph (130-150 miles)
@@ridingwithsam Thanks Sam appreciate the info...
@@arkansasmotorcyclerides6090 yeah i've seen mine as low as 22 mpg before in city/mountain riding. But on certain trips just cruising i've seen it as high as 44 mpg. Most i ever got from a full tank was 161 miles, and it sputtered to a stop as i had a fuel bottle with me.
Chase have you done a video on the shockwave ?
They should put that engine on faired sport bike maybe something like the Ducati v2
The MT10 engine is a slightly modified R1 engine.
I really kinda have my heart set on a naked. They are so photogenic. The headlights on that thing is so mean looking omg.
Yea I’m in the same boat. For daily riding they are far superior.
Tale of the dragon run and a long distance tour for a long weekend!!
Take the mt-10 up the twisties that u took the r3. I’m curious how u like it n the mountains
Ejoy it Chase... hope to do a duo test between the new R1 an this MT-10 on my channel later this year... I am already sure I can confirm the naked is the better around... but like to show that in a video!! it will be in Dutch, so no good for you... Again... enjoy your riding on the MT-10!!
Sooo are there any tracks nearby you can run it on??
Bet after he turned the camera off he was known as chase on one wheel!!
Dats funny my friend 😅
The MT-10 is my dream bike too. I got my first bike last year, a 1980 Suzuki GS450L
It's my dream bike and I started on a 2019 mt07 and thinking this or street triple rs next year
Outro crew input: Not my ideal bike, and I don’t like silver. Looking forward to learning more about this, but not really expecting it to change my views on liter bikes.
Need to do a comparison with the Tuono.
Oh for sure. I think we’ll be doing the naked segment first rides soon so we’ll cover all the nakeds in those videos.
i juat got a 2017 fz 10 love it best blend of preformance an comfortably an safty with the nannys an for the money i think its the best "super naked"
how would you compare this MT10 to the 1290 superduke?
I wonder how long the break in is on a motorcycle ? buy one.
Id like to see u make a video riding that bike the way it was made to be ridin
Guys right now at Daytona Bike week you too can ride this magnificent machine for free! Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, BMW, HD and Indian all have FREE demo rides. Get out and ride some bikes! I was astonished Suzuki allowed me to ride a GSXR1000, I test rode the MT-10, BMW 1000RR and the Indian FTR1200...just fantastic experiences!
How do you get bikes for testing?
Video ideas - Showing riding position and feet on the ground with riders of different heights and inseams. Maybe some details of riding modes and behavior.. Lowering mods for short bastards like myself (5'10").
Fehz M'Nez sounds like a hd 360 cam video to me
Track day!! Come on Chase!!
Anyway you could do an MT-10 vs KTM 1290 Super Duke video?
I really hope you get to keep the MT10!!
How many bike have you had insurance on ?
My dream bike is an R3, I’ve been saving for one. But I always watch videos of crashes and it scares me from riding ):
Dont ride outside of your limits and you will be fine
Wait don’t you already own and MT-10??
I think this is a late upload
It's shit that you can't get the mt10sp in America. So much better than the standard model.
Does this bike make any sense? Seems like more power than you can safely use on the street and not as good as an R1 on the track.
Chase please upgrade it to the top... exaust..details...etc etc....
I love the MT10...so I bought one. Come on up to Minnesota and we'll ride. Lol
I have & like both, 2020 MT-10 and 2019 R3.
I want to see how it will handle gravel roads!
Empty10 cause the tank is always empty
Paul M true 😂😂
Go for a good 2 or 3 day trip Supposed to be a great touring bike.
