I'm starting to consider buying a new phone because of the notification problem but I think my Redmi 10x 5g would last for at least a year longer because of this. Really helpful! I can't express how thankful I am! I was going nuts for not receiving e-mail notifications, whatsapp, viber, telegram,... I almost went to buy a new phone. Thanks, it worked perfectly! Everyone, don't forget to adjust each app's permissions and notifications as well, without it notifications might still not work as they are not adjusted by default. (My phone is Xiaomi 11 Ultra)
Got it to work Tips: some of the settings don't exist anymore ie adaptive notifications and something else in privacy And also you need to restart the phone to get notifications
I passed mine from Miui China to global, the problem is that the NFC does not work, to work NFC has to return ROM China (locked bootloader), I will try.
I just came back to this video to say thank you. Im so stressed out bcoz of my 12s ultra's notification (hyper os) always delayed. Not all of this settings was at hyper os but i tried all of it and now i can recieve any notifications like at fb msgr line and gmail.thanks
I don't know how would this even work becuz of different model (redmi), lots of steps can't follow but eventually it worked out. I'm immensely grateful 😂
This is me confirming that it works. I tried it for Gmail. The notification now works, but I still get delayed syncing problem. For instance, I sent an email to myself from another email, but it took a while to deliver to the MiUi phone.
I followed all the steps in the video but it doesn't work, the applications stop after a few minutes, no notifications arrive, I have a black shark 5 pro Chinese rom Joyui 13 08.22.11 based miui 13, look for the same options in the video and activate all of them, but there are options that do not appear on this phone, you could try

Thanks - now I wont recieve any messages anymore but at least I get a notification that I might have recieved a message whenever someone sends me one. EDIT: nvm fixed it. You can also enable or disable WiFi/mobile data access for every app too - mine was disabled without touching that setting ever for both somehow. I dont know who is at fault - dont want to blame Xiaomi for that essentially. Got my Xiaomi 12Pro (Global) a couple days ago - its a great experience but the software is sometimes a little weird. Rarely but sometimes. Hope they will roll out some updates soon.
I've had a Xiaomi Mi 11 for more than a year now, and I always had issues with notifications I did the "disable doze" on ADB but earlier this morning a Discord message took 6 whole minutes to be notified to me. I did everything in the video I hope it'll work.
It has been 8 months, did you follow this video and still have notification problems? Or how have you gotten by since? The notifications problems are driving me insane.
@@calphak7389 Uh yeah its quite easy to fix. Set the affected App (WhatsApp for example) to auto start and disable all power saving restrictions for it. After that you should recieve EVERY single notification without any issues.
@@disco.jellyfish It works until it doesnt, like it worked yesterday, but today I had to go into Whatsapp then only do I get the notification that someone texted me 3 hours ago. Also my notifications do not come on when my screen is locked...Is your phone CHINA ROM by any chance too?
@@calphak7389 Maybe I did some other things too, but I forgot what I did since its quite long ago. It is however fixable rather easily. Just gotta search around UA-cam for a little.
