In this video I will guide you to modify 150W-35V boost module to 170V. The modification is very easy. First you need to replace the original mosfet with a high voltage mosfet. Here I use IR4115. Next need to rewind the inductor. About 60 turns, next you need to replace the output capacitor to 200V (originally 35V), followed by replacing the 10k potentiometer to 200K.

I have not try yet. But I think it will work fine. If possible, use a larger inductor.

I guess the limit is max source-drain voltage of the mosfet and input capacitor and shotky mosfet. So if u put 400v input/output cap and 400v mosfet and diode,god only knows where is the limit..

yes. If the diode is more than 200V, no need to replace it

Có mạch nó dùng diode 20A-200V thì ko cần thay bạn, áp thấp thì thay. Trở LED đó nó dùng 4k7. Chạy trên trăm volt thấy vẫn ok :))) . Kệ nó thôi à kkk

If i put 400v mosfet , diode and capacitors,resistor and choke(inductor) of even higher value what will be the next limmiting factor?
Essa modificação não funciona, ele não colocou a modificação do mosfet que tem que aumentar proporcionalmente o VDS do Mosfet, para não ter que modificar o VDS do mosfet ele teria que fazer um enrolamento secundário em cima do enrolamento primário para preservar a quantidade de espiras no enrolamento primário

Something seems off about this video. Boosting DC to 150V may allow you to light a light bulb, but it won't run an AC to DC USB charger. The boost converter that is shown in this video is not an AC boost converter, it is a DC boost converter. If you feed 150V DC into an AC to DC USB charger you would either get nothing out of it or worse, fry it. Yet...this video shows him getting his phone to charge from it. The same would happen with the light. I also notice there doesn't appear to be any mention of exactly what module this is, but the brief view on the bottom and what can be seen on the top definitely looks like a DC to DC boost module. Maybe I'm just missing something here...

@@mohammadzare9927ac charger also work on high voltage dc... if u open the charger 220vac to 310vdc converter bridge diode installed... if he apply the charger direct dc supply then bridge diode will not act as a rectifier because they input supply already rectified into dc supply

you need to connect 2 capacitors in series. The midpoint of the 2 capacitors is 0V.

What transistor did you use .I been buying off AliExpress and I think one of problems that I'm having in voltage booster is fake trasnsistors
i use IRFB4115
First mistake is buying Chinese, 2nd is buying aliExpress.
I bought 18650, they weights 34g, not 56g - luckily Ali had no choice to give refund, but the hoops I had to go through.
2nd item was faulty, tough luck... never again.

yes it is possible... because, modern charger, mostly a switching psu... it wont work, if the charger is using transformator... you can identify the differences on the label... switching usually using voltage rating 100v - 220v... while transformator using mechanical switch 100v or 220v
