As a Blackburn fan our great old derby with Burnley goes ignored a lot of the time it’s a lot more passionate than a lot of derbies in England regardless of how many fans we get on, two proper clubs
Jack Walker rebuilt Ewood when he bought the club, previously to that it was still an old Victorian looking ground with wooden stands that were well past their day. The ground wasn't allowed to open if the wind was above 14mph until Walker became involved.
@@coops1964 , true story , most Rovers fans would know that except for the ones who joined the club because of all the money they had thrown at them. You should research Blackburn Olympic (defunct) who also had quite a fascinating history, including a duck pond in the middle of the pitch and challenging the at the time upper-class-dominated game as a working class club.
The FA by rights had to give the trophy to the Rovers for keeps on achieving a hat trick. However the FA pleaded poverty and instead placated Rovers by giving the club the honour of being able to use the club crest on corner flags. You'll notice other clubs do it now regardless of the fact they shouldn't have the right.
I think you will find we are the eleventh most successful club in the country if you do your research. We still are the only town team to win the Premier League. We are also the ONLY club to have been founder members of the Football League and the Premier League to have won both leagues.

We might be swapping places with the Dingles at the end of the season.
COYB,rovers fan and it's a shame in the last 10 years we've been out the prem but venkys did a lot of damage we will be back tho with our good history as well🔵⚪
Cool thanks for watching! I'd love to see Blackburn back in the Prem. Like I said in the vid, growing up Blackburn were always up there but yeah poor ownership has compounded you to EFL obscurity! All the best for this season, hope to see you back where you belong soon!
@@FootyAdventures Thanks good luck to Liverpool too
Out of the two I prefer Blackburn Rovers
Fair enough, thank you for watching again. Much appreciated!
You should research Blackburn Olympic (defunct) who also had quite a fascinating history, including a duck pond in the middle of the pitch and challenging the at the time upper-class-dominated game as a working class club.
Rangers 2 Celtic 0 you'll be glad mate👍🏼⚽️💙
I saw that... huge result for Rangers! On for the double this season now arent they!
As a neutral Ewood park looks much better than turf Moore
Not inside, you're a lot closer to the pitch at Turf Moor.
ash wednesday Talking a about looks. Ewood Park is clearly much nicer than Turf Moor. Burnley’s looks very tired
🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵⚪BLACKBURN ROVERS
Fun fact: Blackburn are the only team to win the FA cup 3 years in a row
The FA by rights had to give the trophy to the Rovers for keeps on achieving a hat trick.
However the FA pleaded poverty and instead placated Rovers by giving the club the honour of being able to use the club crest on corner flags.
You'll notice other clubs do it now regardless of the fact they shouldn't have the right.
Blackburn will always be the bigger club ⚪️🔵
Nope ❤️💙
I think you will find we are the eleventh most successful club in the country if you do your research. We still are the only town team to win the Premier League. We are also the ONLY club to have been founder members of the Football League and the Premier League to have won both leagues.
He should do the north London derby
Crazy to think Burnley are the premier league team and Blackburn are the championship team… Blackburn stadium looks so much better
Not inside.
@@ashyclaret yes it is inside

Yeah true its such an old derby. Thank you for watching!
@@FootyAdventures im a blackburn fan and you should see ewood on a derby day the amount of police is unbelievable. One day we will be back in the Prem where we belong
@@lambert1875 definitely, I'd love to come back for a big match one day. Would really appreciate if you could share with any other Rovers fans!
I’m a United fan, but live in Burnley.
Quite a few of my mates locally are Clarets fans and few are Rovers, both teams have fantastic history and are great clubs, I’ve been to both Ewood and the Turf many times and love both teams.
What’s happened in the last couple of days with my team being the ring leaders for this proposed ESL has made me sick, I feel ashamed to be a United fan. It’s just shitting all over teams like Burnley and Blackburn.
All football fans everywhere need to stand up together against it!
@@lambert1875 no you wont as you’re currently fighting for championship survival😂
